Mystery solved? Liberal blogger admits to laughing during McCain’s Baghdad presser

I keep thinking of that scene in “The Naked Gun”:
– It’s the missing evidence in the Kellner case! My god, he was innocent.

Jane Stillwater, the 64-year-old Berkeley woman who traveled to Iraq on her own dime hoping to embed with the troops, is safely back home in her Section 8 townhouse…
Most famously, she asked a question of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., that the GOP presidential candidate didn’t like while he was visiting the Green Zone. After comparing the bravery of the U.S. soldiers to those in Lord Tennyson’s poem, “The Charge of the Light Brigade,” Stillwater asked McCain, “They’re here, but the original premise of this war was a blunder, and what I want to know is, if you guys are planning on attacking Iran. What do you have to say to that? That sounds like another blunder.”
Said McCain, “I have no response to that.”
Conservative bloggers erroneously accused a CNN reporter of snickering at McCain’s response, setting off a series of accusations that eventually got smoothed over. “But that guy wasn’t even the snickerer,” Stillwater said. “I was snickering, but he wasn’t.”

Not that it would happen in Berzerkeley, but shouldn’t someone investigate her and see if she really qualifies for that Section 8 housing? If you’ve got enough money to travel to Iraq, why are you living in government-supported housing? Maybe Zombie could go check out what kind of pad you can get the government to subsidize for you?
