I am so fed up with the likes of Reid and Biden, that I caved yesterday and sent a check to the RNC. That is the only way I know of countering these idiots.

During the ’04 election, some family members and I made a deal that anytime we heard a celebrity bash Bush, (and I was not committed to voting for him yet – and at that point in time had never voted Republican in my life,) we would pledge $10 to the RNC. It got so prevalent that we were getting pretty low on cash, so we made it $5 – still – needless to say I gave a lot of $$ that year AND I voted for Bush. Then the hippie in front of me in the voting line was going off on Pres. Bush and I just checked any/every Republican candidate. And that, ladies and gentlemen, was the first time I ever voted for a Republican in all of my voting life, (since 1984). I also gave $40 to the Reagan Ranch that year as an “amends” for not voting for Reagan when I should have.

Ok, Joe. Let’s look at these.

Iraq: 80%+ of the US favored overthrowing Saddam when we went in. Congress, including most Dems, voted to allow Bush to use force. Republicans, for the most part, haven’t politicized and polarized the war. That was MoveOn and the Dems.

Venezuela: Chavez was an insane moron in the 90′s when Clinton was President. It wasn’t Clinton’s fault that Chavez is an anti-American socialist with oil who funds narco-terrorists. It’s also not Bush’s fault. But if you gotta blame America . . . .

Hurricane Katrina: I didn’t know that Bush ccaused natural disasters. Maybe you’re talking about the response by FEMA. It’s strange how well everything went in Florida and Alabama where there are a lot of poor Black Americans and two Republican governors. Maybe Nagin should have read and enacted his own disaster preparedness plan. Or maybe Congressman Jefferson (D-LA) shouldn’t have used federal resources to salvage his bribe money stored in his freezer.

Va Tech: Nobody in their right mind will blame anybody but Cho, who, by the way, put out a remarkable manifesto that sounds an awful lot like the DNC agenda.

Darfur: I don’t see any Democrats or Republicans leading on this issue. Hey Joe, if Darfur is so important, why don’t you sponsor a bill that would require the US military to bypass the UN and unilaterally go into this sovereign country?

Imus: Was a cranky old liberal who had been getting away with garbage like that for years, precisely because he was liberal. Conservatives have to be careful of what they say because it is always assumed to be implicitly racist. Obvious racism from liberals is excused.

For goodness sake Joe, weren’t you the one who said al Indians in Delaware worked at 7-11?

Would anyone really run through the nation’s hardships in the 40 years prior to 1994? This is an absolute joke, and I can’t imagine one intelligent person (even my friends on the left) reading these comments and thinking, “Hmmmm, that makes sense.”
