A commentator was saying that we had built thousands of schools in the last few years in Iraq, Smith basicly said he was wrong… Guy was making a point about the propoganda war….

Smith now believes the was is lost…. sad… maybe he can go be Reid’s PR guy.

The Democratic Party is in a conflict of interest between the interests of America and millions of suffering people abroad, and it’s own political fortunes. It has willingly placed itself there, and most Americans can see that plainly.

I want you to know that I and many other Americans have very long memories. If we are so fortunate in the future to see in Iraq a beacon of freedom and enlightenment in the Middle East: a strong ally to replace the one that Iran once was, until it was cast into darkness by another feckless Democrat, then you will be trying no doubt to take credit just like you now claim to have supported the Cold-war-ending work of Reagan. We will not let you. We will make sure your perfidy is exposed to every American, and your party is held up as the very example of faithlessness that it is.

Harry Reid says the War in Iraq is lost:…

There’s no way a congressman could be treasonous enough for the far left, but for most sane people, an elected representative of this country does not speak this way about an ongoing military conflict. This is Tokyo Rose Territory. What a bastid!

Fox News is reporting that the Prez is going to ‘address Reid’s remarks’ at 1:00 PM. Could it be that W’s finally had enough of this crap? May he’ll offer to send Reid to Iraq so he can surrender to the enemy.

Americans who can’t accept that Democrats actually want America defeated by al-Qaeda don’t understand the psychosis that lies at the core of modern liberalism. It’s the same psychosis that fuels their “global warming” madness, their compulsion to cripple the nuclear family, their sympathetic view of Marxism, etc etc, which is: “Evil is the victim of Good” (thank you, Evan Sayat). 9/11 presented them with an unsolvable, for them, and maddening dilemma: taking sides against fascism (now, in Islamic colors) entailed taking sides for America, and taking sides for America entailed renouncing their own fundamentalist religion, political correctness. Only a literal handful (out of millions) of them were capable of doing this, and given the moral cowardice necessary to be politically correct, that’s not surprising.

I hope more of them come out, like Reid, and wax elequent about al-Qaeda victories and the hopelessness of American power. The young need to see whose side they are really on.
