On Monday’s show, a caller asked if he could fill in for Snow. Miller said no way; that has got to be the worst job in the country, having to deal with the Gotcha Corps every day. (And he said that Snow is like a master swordsman fending off their blades. I believe he used the word ‘rapier’ at one point.)

fyi – I finally answered a call from the RNC yesterday and the caller was bemoaning the fact that the Dems could take it all. I replied, “when I hear a message from the RNC that takes a stand on illegals in the country and illegal immigration, I’ll consider contributing”.

Her reply was, “but you can’t let the Dems win over a single issue”.

My reply was, “if you’re going to give the country away, I don’t care who runs it”.

Everytime the RNC solicits money from me I send $50 to the Club for Growth!

Hmmmm…think Pat Toomey stabbed in the back by Bush and Specter. Think Wayne Gilchrest R-MD who stabs conservatives in back on rotating shifts. The former Jersey City mayor who ran for Governor…stabbed, RI’s mayor Laffey stabbed by the Senate Incumbent Republican Protection Committee in his bid to unseat Chaffee.

I could go on.

Thompson/Steele would likely cover the international front, and they could appoint Newt to a high cabinet position where he could implement alot of innovative and conservative ideas. And, Thompson/Steele would cut the demographic legs out from under both Obama and Hillary.

Uhhh… you might want to rethink hitching your wagon to Ron Paul’s star. The guy is a total fruitcake.

No, he’s consistent to his reading of the Constitution regarding foreign policy. I don’t agree with him 100% either. But he came to that position in an entirely different manner than liberals do. He is more of a libertarian isolationist. He believes that the less the U.S. gets involved with other nations the better for us. That is somewhat simplistic, indeed, and lacking nuance. But that doesn’t make him a fruitcake.

Or is he a fruitcake because he would abolish the Department of Education, the IRS, and the Federal Reserve Board? At least none of the socialists could claim he’s in the pocket of big money, if he wants to take on the bankers, CPAs, and teachers, some of the heaviest hitting lobbies in the country.

Anyway, he’s nobody’s nominee, so it’s really moot.

I’m not sure whether to be glad or concerned that so many Republican legislators feel about Fred! the way that many citizens do.
