And pardon the pun (and the vast hostility), but screw Crystal Mangum, and her so-called mental illness. She is JUST the type of woman that makes it da#n near impossible to prosecute actual legitimate rape cases. I feel no sorrow for her, nor do I give a rat’s rearend what the black community in Durham thinks about prosecuting her. She filed false charges and stuck with those false charges for a year. She deserves some of the time behind bars that she nearly caused those boys.

I detest her ilk, as a woman, for contributing to the fear men have of women. And anyone that gives her a book/movie/media/etc deal deserves to be ostracized by the public.

Racial victim status is the new diplomatic immunity.

Victim my ass. She has all the power of a Caligula, and it’s even less deserved. She’ll probably get a book deal and a talk show on Oxygen out of all of this and be set for life. What a stupid world.

Nifong needs to go down hard, and there’s a long list of people that need to be taken to the cleaners, such as Duke and Durham. Since this case has many instances of actual malice and willful disregard for the truth, it will be satisfying to see the MSM get taken down in court as well. NYT and Nancy Grace being in the lead.

But she makes my top ten of relentlessly biased tvpersons.

Reade Seligmann had even more reason to be frustrated: He had a rock solid alibi. He had already left the house and went to a restaurant when the attack allegedly occurred, and could prove it with eyewitnesses, cell phone records and security-camera video of him at an ATM machine.

Seligmann says his lawyer tried to show these records and evidence to Nifong but that the district attorney refused. “He said, ‘We are not in the mood to hear fiction.’ We thought this was going to be over in days,” he says.

I can’t wait for June 12, when the ethics trial starts.

At this stage, when everybody knows that the stripper and Nifong both lied continuously for a year, there’s no room left for a shred of sympathy for either of them.

They each need to be punished, both civilly and criminally, for the pain they have caused, and the laws they have broken.

A very uncomfortable percentage of actual rapes go un-prosecuted (by fear of the victim). So when a “victim” is found to be a liar, not only is it a slap in the face to those who are falsely charged, but it cuts to the core of those truly suffered such a devastating crime.

So please tell me again why public caning is outlawed?
