Pravda: Imus silenced by BushCo before he could expose 9/11

I think we all suspected, but it’s one thing to suspect and another thing to know, you know? Looks like Rosie rosie’s gotten the message: she vowed today on her blog that from now on her screams shall be silent.

rosie-ans1mbps.jpg

Exit question: Al Sharpton — unwitting pawn of Rove or deep cover PNAC operative of longstanding?

You know, I knew it all along…. as soon as this thing started I just knew the jews had to be behind it!

dead-duck on April 15, 2007 at 5:07 PM

Well, Pravda in Russian means truth. So, they’re Pravdaers, I guess.

flipflop on April 15, 2007 at 5:08 PM

No don’t stop Rosie! It gives me a reason to be an Appomattox Truther.

Limerick on April 15, 2007 at 5:11 PM

Ok, I just tried to read through Rosie’s poetic post, and is it just me or is she oddly reminiscent of that deb chick who was harassing assorted members of the blogosphere a little while back?

dead-duck on April 15, 2007 at 5:12 PM

I knew if I waited long enough Bush would get blamed. :P

djohn669 on April 15, 2007 at 5:16 PM

I hope Imus gets a new show and makes it his mission in life to expose Sharpton and Jackson for the race baiting hate mongers they are.

ctmom on April 15, 2007 at 5:16 PM

This is the first time I’ve seen Rosie’s blog. I knew she was remarkably stupid, but didn’t know until now that she’s functionally illiterate. How the hell did she get through grade school like that….or did she?

RedWinged Blackbird on April 15, 2007 at 5:18 PM

She is the perfect example of ‘it is not what you know but who you know’. Hollywood is full of em, and congress.

Limerick on April 15, 2007 at 5:23 PM

Her blog looks more like a long-winded text message soliloquy typed on her cell phone.

flipflop on April 15, 2007 at 5:23 PM

Wow, radical writing style by ro.

y r u so stupid?

JammieWearingFool on April 15, 2007 at 5:24 PM

‘it is not what you know but who you know’.

I think it’s a safe bet that she didn’t get her big break on the Director’s couch.

RedWinged Blackbird on April 15, 2007 at 5:26 PM

Depends on the director.

Limerick on April 15, 2007 at 5:30 PM

As I responded to Attila’s original posting of the Pravda link in another thread:

Lol, I suppose Al Shaprton and Jesse Jackson are Bush’s henchmen?

RightWinged on April 15, 2007 at 3:49 PM

Because that is what one would have to believe to buy this crap.

As for Rosie, she’s infuriating. I can’t just pass her off as a fringe nut, because she has a mainstream forum and she does nothing but lie. That entire post pisses me off… No you don’t support the troops Rosie, or you wouldn’t be so quick to accuse British troops of a false flag operation. And no we haven’t killed hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqis, and Elizabeth never insinuated that innocent Iraqis were terrorists in the first place. For starters those “hundreds of thousands” figures are total BS and everyone with an ounce of common sense knows and and anyone with an ounce of integrity wouldn’t repeat those lies (oh wait, you’re a Truther, I shouldn’t be surprised). Secondly, it isn’t “Us” who are killing all these Iraqis anyway, it’s THE TERRORISTS!!! You can call the insurgents or call it sectarian violence but WE aren’t doing it you disgraceful POS. Is that how you support the troops as you claim in the same breathe? By falsely accusing them of genocide? F U you fat piece of garbage. Unless you have evidence that all these car bombs etc. are secret missions by coalition forces, you need to STFU.

I guess I’m just extremely pissed because Hasselbeck is too much of a pussy to handle Rosie, therefore no one truly takes her on, she’s shut off comments, etc. on her site so she can shield herself from all of this, while claiming to be a victim of Bush’s attacks on free speech… sounds like ABC got embarrassed, told her to cool it a bit, and now she wants us to feel bad for her.

Rosie, I’ll have an ounce of respect for you the day you have the balls to have someone competent on to argue with you, and you can hold your own for 5 seconds.

It was important enough to say it twice.

Credit due: O’Donnell used to be funny, back when she was just another ‘hungry’ comedian. But that was a long time ago. Now she’s just a sad case of empty celebrity life. And that’s not meant to be an insult, just an observation. She’s just sad.

If Imus was about to expose Bush with a 911 conspiracy, why would Media Matters, a Soros funded, left wing,Bush hating site, lead the charge to get rid of him? It’s more feasable to believe his hatred of Hillary was ruining her Pres chances, thus Media Matters gave her a helping hand.

appleann on April 15, 2007 at 6:01 PM

That Pravda article is scary.

eucher on April 15, 2007 at 6:15 PM

Well considering we have a New House Committee on Un American Activities led by Pelosi and Leahy and Murtha and other on their witch hunts to find anyone who defamed liberals It fits that the head witch in holliwood would defend the “Truth”

So in a time of war who will the Democrats haul up in front of congress in their staged witch hunts to find “Un constitutional” activities and attempts to ruin peoples lives in the hunt for their version of the truth ?

William Amos on April 15, 2007 at 6:18 PM

appleann, you’ve fallen for the classic case of Rovian misdirection. Stooge. Soros was created by the military-industrial complex in order to provide false opposition to Booosh! These are the same people who set up JFK and blamed it on an innocent guy who was watching a movie at the time – they’re crafty, I tell ya!

Laura on April 15, 2007 at 6:18 PM

Holy Moly, it really was Pravda – not PravdOnion!

eeyore on April 15, 2007 at 6:26 PM

I think it safe to say Rosie hasn’t missed too many meals.

But, to the US War Leaders, Don Imus represented the most serious threat, to date,………

It’s all very clear to me now……

PinkyBigglesworth on April 15, 2007 at 6:33 PM

Forget pravda, that’s not really rosie typing on that blog is it? That’s got to be satire.

Only one word could describe rosie’s blog “UNREAL

sonnyspats1 on April 15, 2007 at 6:56 PM

I can’t believe I just read Rosie’s blaaaaahg.

But I have a question now: has anybody ever seen RocketScience Rosie and Deb Frisch at the same place at the same time?

I’m just sayin’. That barely literate e.e. cummings knock-off “writing” style was way, way too familiar.

Deb Frisch may be Rosie. Google it.

We should start a Rosie-Frisch Truther site. The truth is out there, Scully.

Obviously, they’re both “word warriors” (patent pending).

She seems to like getting realy close to young girls in pictures on her site.
NAWGLA?

Hening on April 15, 2007 at 7:20 PM

Unable to attack such a powerful media figure as Don Imus, directly, the US War Leaders, and as we have seen many times before, resorted to a massive media attack against him using as the reason a racial slur against a US woman’s basketball team, but which has been pointed out by other media outlets was not by any means a rare occurrence for the legendary radio icon to make.

Bush! Is there anything he can’t do?? What’s even scarier about Pravda is all the Google ads surrounding the article.

What’s -really- sad is that my wife says Pravda is a serious newspaper over there. Many stories I’ve seen from Pravda have been weird and conspiratorial.

I found this link on Pravda to be odd. And we all wonder why the rest of the world sees the U.S. with such contempt. The liberals here in the U.S. are spewing their nonsense to the rest of the world, hoping that the rest of the world will pressure American citizens to vote for the Dems.

Rick on April 15, 2007 at 7:56 PM

RightWinged on April 15, 2007 at 7:50 PM

It all makes sense now.

I thought the best part of her rant was where she, in essence, throws her hands up and states:

i am registering as an independent
cause i am sick of both sides
cowardly silence

The Dems are probably thanking their lucky stars about this – they are probably thinking they won’t get lumped in with her everytime she says something stupid.

Rick on April 15, 2007 at 8:06 PM

Hey Levy, I see you’ve been back… any chance of getting Bill to pull a stunt like this? I know there is some flooding in the area, just saw a Fox News broad walking around in ankle deep water somewhere on Long Island.

http://newsbusters.org/node/2199

Send Rachel if you have to, even she couldn’t make such a stunt unfunny… well, actually… she could probably find a way.

RightWinged on April 15, 2007 at 8:07 PM

You know, this President invaded a sovereign nation in defiance of the UN. He is basically a war criminal.

No, Rosie, U. N. Resolution 1441 was passed unanimously, and it gave Saddam a final 30 days to comply with U. N. sanctions. He didn’t. By contrast, Clinton intentionally ignored the U. N. in order to bomb a sovereign nation back to the Stone Age. Is Clinton a war criminal?

Bill Ramey on April 15, 2007 at 8:16 PM

So now, rosie is goint to focus on things like hurricane Katrina…nice to see she doesn’t like to re-hash old ignorant arguments.

She’s as wrong about that as everything else… as of a year ago, 1600 people lived in Renaissance Village and more leave every day as they decide to either give up on New Orleans and move elsewhere, or move into their repaired homes, or other housing in the city. Does it suck? Yes. Temporary housing should suck, or else it would become permanent.

“Hungry” as in ambitious to make her mark in the world, to become a ’star’. After she became a ’star’ her life was still empty, so now she tries to fill it by being ‘important’.
It’s just sad.

Doug on April 15, 2007 at 9:27 PM

Well, anyone else old enough to remember the old joke from the Cold War about the two Soviet newspapers, Pravda (meaning “truth”) and Isvestia (meaning “news”)

“There’s no truth in Pravda, and no news in Isvestia!”

INC on April 15, 2007 at 9:45 PM

Who the heck is kiding who here. Anyone else think that maybe (just maybe) Baba and the producers didn’t sit down for a nice little ‘dialouge’ and say something like, “Rosie, we don’t care what you think. Imus was rousted and “u r” being toasted right now so we don’t need to loose OUR SPONSORS so STFU.” Maybe?

auspatriotman on April 15, 2007 at 9:48 PM

Pravda is a Russian tabloid. Would they be a serious newspaper, they’d focus on the retention of protesters against their government, yesterday and today, including the famous Kasparov.

Sorcha Faal is a fraud. Here is another hit peace, from not long ago.

unreal
i am registering as an independent
cause i am sick of both sides
cowardly silence

as democracy dies

In a strange way, one she hasn’t digested yet, to stay in the RW-gastronomy theme, she has a point. Democracy is slowly dying, and both parties are not diligent enough on stopping or slowing the death.

rosie has the issues wrong, is indignant about the wrong people, but she’s got the parties’ overall lack of cojones figured out, if she’d stop to think. I r 2 optimistic and I r asking 2 much of her, maybe.

Entelechy on April 15, 2007 at 10:31 PM

Correction – s/b “hit piece”, peace being another matter entirely :(

Also, if Pravda were a serious newspaper, an article like this would mean the complete return of the UCCP – yes, some of it is back, or never left, but not all of it, not yet.

Rosie’s blog. Where apparently…

“u no evry ltr cst muny”

Does her keyboard have a limited number of characters per day? Or does she get charged per character? And the cost of an upper case letter must be far too much to consider.

You going to “take on for the team”, and visit her blog again to find out? Very brave.

We need to see more articles from Pravda and the like, to stay focused on what the world’s socialists will say to press their agenda. Nothing is new under the sun, this article could have been written in 1982, naming Reagan instaed of Bush. I love how they capitalize “War Leaders”.
