Bloated socialist using 9/11 illnesses to shill for Castro, free health care

If America won’t help them, the revolution will. Best part: He flew them there under a “journalism” exception to the travel ban. Your quote of the day, from the head of a foundation that raises money for people suffering from 9/11 ailments:
“They got the Elvis treatment.”
I’ll bet. He’s nothing if not consistent, though: his very first written statement after 9/11, published while rescuers were still picking through the rubble for survivors, was a complaint about airline pilots’ wages. New wars come and go, my friends, but the class war is eternal.
I’ll leave you with this, from the same posting. Osama’s probably not guilty, and even if he is, he isn’t. We are.
Am I being asked to believe that this guy who sleeps in a tent in a desert has been training pilots to fly our most modern, sophisticated jumbo jets with such pinpoint accuracy that they are able to hit these three targets without anyone wondering why these planes were so far off path?
Or am I being asked to believe that there were four religious/political fanatics who JUST HAPPENED to be skilled airline pilots who JUST HAPPENED to want to kill themselves today?
Maybe you can find one jumbo jet pilot willing to die for the cause — but FOUR? Ok, maybe you can — I don’t know.
What I do know is that all day long I have heard everything about this bin Laden guy except this one fact — WE created the monster known as Osama bin Laden!

Who will be the first to say it, Olbermann or Moore ?
I thought it might be Rosie, but she backed off a bit.

Hmmm?

Moore edited out the part where he wondered why they didn’t attack more Republicans. I remember that part because I read that filth the day he wrote it. He actually thinks they attacked us because of Bush and the Kyoto treaty.
Here’s what he later edited out of his 9/11 post:
The man has no humanity.

Darn it. Hit submit too soon. One more question..
But did they get cancer treatment? I mean, wasn’t that the point of going there, to get evaluated and treated?
Oh, forgot. It’s only a movie.

What he didn’t mention is that the “Elvis Treatment” is a steady diet of prescription drugs, peanut butter and bacon sandwiches and hip-strengthening exercises.

Word out of Germany and Russia is that WE created Hitler and Stalin too. Didn’t we create Castro and Lil’ Kim as well? Let’s not forget Iran, that’s our fault too (actually, thanks to Carter, I may have to agree with that). Geez, what is our problem? Can’t we just live and let live? Oh well, it’s got to be that whole imperialism thing – I think it comes with the territory.
Rick on April 15, 2007 at 8:57 PM
What the heck does that mean? I find it grotesque to associate Elvis with, ick Michael Moore.
I seem to recall that Elvis was drafted and went for what, 2 and 1/2 years, without a deferment or whimper. Unlike John Kerry.
Granted, we were not at war, but there was no guarantee we wouldn’t be and WWII was fresh in people’s minds.
In contrast, Elvis was an incredibly generous man, unlike, again, our friend Mikey.
I guess I just don’t like Elvis associated with Michael Moore, even casually. Sticking in my craw.
I am done now. You can return to your regularly scheduled program.

The Elvis treatment means rich foreigners have access to clinics, restaurants, shops, beaches and fine hotels while Cubans are arrested for entering these areas.
The Cuban people have dubbed it Tourist Apartheid. Don’t expect to hear anything about that in Sicko.
John on April 15, 2007 at 9:08 PM
Moore is less. When he’d been quiet for so long (not that anyone was complaining about his absence)I assumed he was skulking, waiting for the ‘08 elections. Maybe his re-appearance will remind the Republicans that they need to keep the kooks out of power. Imagine Moore as Press Secretary to President H. Clinton.

Rick on April 15, 2007 at 9:15 PM
Kind of funny, that. When did Elvis tour Europe or anyplace outside the US? Answer: Never. The Colonel couldn’t or wouldn’t leave the country, therefore he never performed outside the country and then could never, himself, had the “treatment”. He went to Hawaii, that was it.
Don’t meant to beat a dead horse so to speak. I have been listening to Elvis gospel lately.
Thanks for letting me vent.

No word on whether Moore, in an effort to hear the other side of the story, asked Cubans fleeing the country on rafts…. why they are so desperate they are fleeing on rafts! I suspect the question would be something like: “You idiots, you’ve got free health care here… why are you risking your health and LIVES to leave?”. Moore is a Class A ass.
If you haven’t read this yet, do so now. Learn it, love it, live it:
http://www.davekopel.org/Terror/Fiftysix-Deceits-in-Fahrenheit-911.htm
There’s another one on Bowling for Columbine but I’m too lazy to dig it up now. This guy is one of the most disgraceful POSs on the planet.
I suppose most here already know that a couple supporters of his attempted to do a documentary on him, which lead to them being supporters of his no longer. They found out, among other things, that the entire premise of his “Roger & Me” where he pretends to desperately seek comment from GE’s Roger Smith, was bogus, because Smith had in fact talked to him, but he chose to leave that footage out, because with it he wouldn’t have had the movie he was trying to make.
This isn’t to say those people who made “Me & Michael” are the most honest people themselves, but they were so shocked that they abandoned tubby. I saw them interviewed about this on FNC a few months ago, and they kept trying to dodge their finding about Moore dropping the important clip from his movie, to make statements about the war and the favorite liberal lie “650,000 innocent Iraqis killed”.

This has the stench of one of Michael Moore’s bowel movements……. left in the bowl for a month…….. in the month of July, in the middle of Texas……. with dead rats and maggots becoming putride of the original stench….. becoming a foam, then the bubbles burst and join the wind…….. just try to picture Mrs. Moore’s impacted bowels, in a pair of wet, soiled, bloodied underwear. Nice…….

My father used to say about vile people like this “why doesn’t the earth open up and swallow him?”. About Moore I’d have to say “…but it would take a fault (like in geology) to swallow this ‘bloated socialist’”.
I lived in a socialist healthcare system. What Moore needs is a live tooth-nerve extraction and then we’ll talk. What idealists like him need is not “the Elvis treament”, but forced living in a socialist/communist land, for a minimum of two years, without knowing that they’d be able to return – also, not as a guest of Fidel.

I think it’s great and should be encouraged when anyone on the Left reveals their sympathies for communism (surprise surprise), which they otherwise try to conceal or divert attention from. It’s their smoke-and-mirrors act which makes them so effective and dangerous. They are less so when their real agenda is out in the open.

Mallard,
It appears that the answer to the question “Are people in the United States becoming dumber” would be “Yes” as I have proven by my own misspelling of the word “dumber.” I also misspelled the word “becoming” by adding a second “m” as in “becomming.”
Bad William! Bad, naughty William!
Now I have no credibility! (grin)
After looking at that sentence again, I discovered that it can also be written as “Are people in the United States becoming dimmer?” and the answer would, once again, as I, sadly, have proven by my own actions, is “yes” again.
Thanks for the correction.
Now I will go sit in shame on the high chair in the corner of the class, wearing the “dunce” cap.

Beats me.

Anybody else remember the Marianas Boat Lift during the Carter years. It was my
privilegeduty to babysit several of those refugees and I got to see first hand the results of not only the Cuban brand of healthcare but also their penal institutions. I am sure Mikey does a whole section on how those afflicted with AIDS are treated in Cuba. If Cuban healthcare is so great why do world leaders come to the Mayo Clinic instead of what ever version they have in Havana is?I think the old adage “You get what you pay for” applies here.
Moore is the worst kind of propagandists and the fact that he taps into peoples base fears and promotes visions of false hope is far worse then most swindlers who lack his ability to be given legitimacy.
Taking people to Cuba for healthcare is akin to the Nazi’s inviting Jews into the gas chambers for showers.
Harsh words??? You bet, but I give no quarter to enemies of this nation whether they wrap themselves in the cloth of religion like the Islamofascists or by using the rights guaranteed by our Constitution, a document which has no equal in the world.
Final question. Will we see a documentary by a Cuban citizen whereby he brings some Cuban citizens to the US for healthcare?

The man made the most profitable documentary in history. He made it explicitly to defeat a sitting American President, a man whose approval ratings were in the tank, who had involved the country into a complicated, unpopular war, who failed to win a clear plurality of votes in his first election, and is perhaps the least articulate President we’ve had in the last century. This same President won that election, solidly, and many mark that success up to a reaction against Moore’s movie.
Michael Moore is the single worst failure in American media history. Even Ed Wood achieved sublime profundity in the poor quality of his work. Moore was just good enough to fail. Eventually, he’ll be dead, and no one will remember him, fondly or otherwise.
