Apparently what MEMRI caught was the Brotherhood saying that they didnt trust any americans so that a meeting with them had to be held in a very public place so that they couldnt be "deceived" but also so that the mazimum amount of propaganda could be gleemed from it. The MB was pushing for a meeting with the dems figuring "Hey they are meeting everyone else why not us ?" Again I read this story in Al jazeera’s arabic site.
