Video: Ambassador confirms — Jews run my country

posted at 8:40 pm on April 12, 2007 by Allahpundit

Well, I should hope so. Via Backspin, it’s Dan the Man, long a hero in these parts, getting the business on “The Daily Show.” I think he’s in on the joke here, although maybe not until Oliver breaks out the script about pimping.

Funny stuff, although some of the jokes made me cringe a bit. I guess it’s okay; Jon Stewart provides the requisite absolute moral authorityV.

Hah! Gillerman is completely unflappable.

Is there any chance that maybe the “folk” might get a small portion of the inequity Israel has suffered? Nah, the tinfoil hatted leftist loons are unable to see or hear anything that has to do with truth! Jon sure looked uncomfortable there at the end…hm….wonder why?

Well, I think you’ll have to ask the Fisraeli ambassador.

Haha, nice work.

tiekitwist on April 12, 2007 at 9:20 PM

This was funny and I thought he did a great job!

“I think you’ll have to ask the Fisraeli ambassador.”

Fisrael should nuke the !@#$ out of Irun.

Citizen Duck on April 12, 2007 at 9:22 PM

I’ve never watched Comedy Central and this was a new kind of humor for me…. I had a hard time with the Pimping thing, but the Ambassador was excellent.(was it for real??!) It has to be difficult to be funny with such serious subjects.

How in the world did that goof score an interview with Gillerman?

infidel4life on April 12, 2007 at 10:11 PM

I think that, like others, he was under the impression that it was a serious interview. But, unlike others, he caught on pretty quickly and got in on the funny.

infidel4life on April 12, 2007 at 10:11 PM

Agreed. Gillerman is NO ONE’s tool. Why did he do this? Some of the humor was cringe-worthy. Perhaps he’s trying to demonstrate a lighter side to being Jewish? I don’t know.

I think he had to know who he was talking to.

thedecider on April 12, 2007 at 10:49 PM

To me it seemed he was holding back the smile and acting serious. At least it wasn’t Borat.

StuLongIsland on April 12, 2007 at 11:06 PM

I haven’t laughted so hard in a very long time ! GREAT STUFF !

That’s how we do it in Detroit.

spmat on April 13, 2007 at 12:52 AM

Fascinating. The most logical inference to be drawn from the ambassador’s strange behavior in this interview is that he is merely half-Vulcan.

Kralizec on April 13, 2007 at 1:09 AM

Funny………. now where is the bit about Nancy Pelosi?

PinkyBigglesworth on April 13, 2007 at 1:44 AM

That is hilarious.

Gillerman needs a full time gig. He exudes awesomeness.

Stormy70 on April 13, 2007 at 8:56 AM

I think he had to know who he was talking to.No. I don’t think so. Haven’t you seen these segments? The catch state senators all the time! (especially Democrats for some reason) It’s like these people have no clue about the Jon Stewart show. And in all fairness, these people are a bit too busy to pay attention to comedy central, but you would think someone on the staff would know.

Rightwingsparkle on April 13, 2007 at 11:18 AM

Awesome!
