Man this good stuff! I’m surprised that the media hasn’t reported you as propaganda machine. Hey if they did at least they would be reporting it just with there own twist. Maybe the goodness of our troops will break through and the real story is told.

It’s incomprehensible to me that these stories can only be heard on blogs such as this. Michael Yon, Pat Dollard, the real voices from Iraq, and I don’t read or hear them anywhere but on their blogs or this one. GOD BLESS our men and women in uniform, who continue to do what they do. I am so grateful.

Great Vent Michelle! We need to hear more from the troops with the real story – not the propaganda we are fed from the MSM.
Big surprise, the MSM isn’t reporting the positive aspects of the United States military presence in Iraq, or the support from citizens of the United States for the troops.
This video gives me further proof that the MSM is more interested in promoting their propaganda rather than fair and balanced reporting.

Thank you, Michelle. My older son is a U.S. Army First Lieutenant (with ranger tab) serving in Iraq. I know how magnificent our guys are, and I get so very frustrated that their story is not told by the “mainstream media.”

I may only be a “dependent”, but JANE HAS A FEW CHOICE WORDS FOR THE FORTUNATE SONS.
Keep up your reporting from “over there”. Americans need to hear this EVERY single day until they understand that this isn’t NOBODY’S WAR, this is EVERYONE’S WAR.
Tumba Drop, Bryan…how goes THAT?

Thanks to MM and Hot Air for doing these stories. I’d say that this coverage deserves a Pulitzer, but frankly a Pulitzer is sooooooo beneath Hot Air. This is real journalism. Keep up the good work.

May God Bless America, our citizens and our faithful soldiers.
Thanks Michelle.

Thank you HA; I wish that just once the MSM would show video like this, and many kudo’s to the ‘citizen reporter’ who interviewed these soldiers.

The Imus flap is sucking the wind out of your Excellent Great Vent.
I agree, more videos like this needs to be on the nightly news. Not news worthy enough for the MAIN STREAM MEDIA. They would rather talk about HO’s and not about Heroes.
As a former Air Force dependent, I’ve had the unique opportunity to grow up around all 4 branches of the Military and even though I wasn’t eligible to serve when I reached of age, I can still serve by volunteering at my local VFW Post 3830. It’s the least I can do to show my support for those who protect our freedom.
Great Vent guys.

“The Media needs to tell the truth.”
That is it in a nutshell.
They won’t, of course. And that is why sites like Hot Air and michellemalkin.com are bleeding the MSM of readers/viewers and cash.
This father of a US Marine thanks you for this video.
This entire series is confirming what a Marine MSGT told me on a flight back from San Francisco three months ago.

Wait a minute. This has to be a fake. Where is the video showing infidel occupiers of Muslim land? The guys with the Snidely Whiplash mustaches who cackle as they steal oil and desecrate the Koran?
Methinks you’ve been duped, Michelle. Try to get some more accurate clips, perhaps from CBS or ABC….

From the mouths of Marines instead of journalists. What a difference. It’s too bad there is such a difference and that finding stories such as this isn’t widely reportred. Hell, it’s more than “too bad” that most journalists aren’t reporting this too, it’s outright treasonous IMO.
Support the troops AND their mission. Let’s get it done!

Too true.
BTW, When HotAir first started, Michelle was ruff around the edges. But as time has past, she has become more and more polished. I say the experiment is over and it’s time for her to get her own show! (That’s not to say that the Vent’s should stop :)

P.S. I hear MSNBC has an opening
P.P.S. Once a week/month have a Vent created by one of the troops?
MirCat on April 12, 2007 at 11:10 PM
I repeat myself.
The US Military, doing the work Democrats wouldn’t do.
