Unfortunately, we won’t be that lucky. Too bad – if we were, it couldn’t happen to a nicer apologist. When it comes to chutzpah, Nancy Pelosi takes the prize.

Imagin President Bush speaking for Mexico against Mexico’s wishes … or speaking for Canada against Canada’s wishes … or speaking for all of North America on some trip to China … without coordination with those countries. It is the same thing.

This dizzy bimbo is sucking up to our enemies as if they will be voting for her rather than some nutball in San Flakecisco.

But then, she seems to be taking a page from Jimmah so maybe she’s playing for a Nobel or something.

As far as I’m concerned, that’s exactly what she’s doing.

I think lab rats are smarter than liberal Democrats.

When you put a lab rat in a maze, they don’t keep making the same mistakes…they eventually learn how to get to the food.

Liberal Democrats, on the other hand, seem never to learn from their mistakes, or the mistakes of the past,regardless of how many people had to die. It doesn’t matter how many Hitlers, Stalins, Pol Pots that we have to see….they never learn.

Lantos said that, regardless of how offensive the utterings of Ahmadinejad, we still must have dialogue with him. By that standard, Neville Chamberlain was RIGHT to go to Munich, he was RIGHT to dialogue with Hitler, and he was RIGHT to come back with his little piece of paper that gave “peace in our time”.

Lantos is of Hungarian birth. It was during his lifetime that Hitler came to power and that Chamberlain negotiated away the rights of the neighbouring state of Czechoslovakia. It was in his lifetime that the appeasement of Hitler led to the Holocaust of the Jews.

If Lantos, a Jewish survivor of the Holocaust cannot learn from that history, I submit that the people of his district would be better served in Congress by a lab rat.

I’ve seen this ad on TV three or four times in a matter of hours in D.C. Not sure if it’s playing elsewhere, but it’s a pretty good one. Be patient. There are a few too many seconds of intro on the ad before it starts:

Maybe she could cut some corners (and save some fuel) by simply running for President with him. America or Iran…what difference does it make? If she continues this course of action, they’ll both be ruled by Iran soon anyway….

Lantos noted that “with the speaker’s support,” he has co-sponsored legislation in the House that calls for making available to all countries — including Iran — nuclear fuel for peaceful purposes under international oversight by establishing a “nuclear fuel bank.”

“So if the Iranian president says that he is developing (nuclear material) for peaceful purposes, we are assisting him in that process,” said Lantos, who anticipated the legislation could pass as early as May.

And yes… Lantos(D) has visitied the North Koreans… and he took them at their word too… and made no apologies when they tested their first nuclear weapon under the watchful eyes of Iranian observers.

If neither North Korea or Iran have generators, or transmission lines, then what rational person would believe they are enriching uranium for nuclear power plants that they don’t even have?
