I finally figured out why Faye Turney was on the boat – it was to give hugs – mother hugs- to the guys during times of stress. And they needed lots of hugs.

This was kind of like a modern day version of Wendy and the Lost Boys. The evil Captain Hook Ahmadinejad had captured them and somehow Tinkerbell got them released while Tony Pan was trying to get a UN resolution.

THHNH should do something with this. I would try and get Rowan Atkinson to play Batchelor but in this case Mr Bean becomes Rambo and starts killing Iranian interogators left and right. The iranians decide to release the hostages to save themselves. The end would be a message to the effect of if only this is what happened.

In the Melanie Phillips piece, she said the soldiers has acted as if this were part of a realty TV series. It really is what the world has come to - in Britain's case both MP George Galloway and Tony Blair's sister-in-law have actually been in reality TV series. Unfortunately, at this rate, it won't be long before Britian itself is kicked off the island by the likes of our old friend Abu Izzadeen.

Seaman Batchelor’s claim that he cried himself to sleep after his Iranian captors likened him to the comedy character Mr Bean made him a laughing stock.

……. Sorry, but I don’t quite know what to say about that. Which is more pathetic, the fact that Mahmoud knows who “Mr. Bean” is, or that the soldier cried himself to sleep because of it?

“The Ride of the Valkyries” brought this vid rendition of LZ’s “Immigrant Song” to mind. Arthur isn’t fit to clean these little kitties’ tody box.

As for the Iranians calling him “Mr. Bean”, it’s an insult to Mr. Bean. Atkinson would have done the Brits proud and then made a tv show with Mr. Bean making fun of them.
