I respect your right to your opinion, and do not wish to argue with anyone about this issue. I simply think that if you are going to euthanize someone, it should be done quickly and humanely, not by a means that, if you had done the same thing to your dog would land you in jail for cruelty to animals.

Dismissing someone’s stand on an issue as “swallowed propaganda” is straight out of the lefty playbook.

And when your different viewpoint is rooted in misinformation propagated by the pro-euthanasia movement, then yes, you’ve swallowed propaganda.

You’ve obviously swallowed the pro-euthanasia crowd’s propaganda hook, line, and sinker. The autopsy did show brain shrinkage, but nothing remotely close to “the point of not even supporting consciousness, much less pain.” I would encourage you to actually read the autopsy report (available at the Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation’s website) and also some analysis by Michelle Malkin and an article by WorldNetDaily.

Concerning Rudy, I don’t know why he thinks this will get him brownie points with the social conservatives. I don’t like him because he approves of killing babies (with taxpayer funding!). Saying one nice thing about Terri Schiavo will not alleviate that larger issue. I’m looking for someone who is consistently pro-life — i.e. Sam Brownback or Duncan Hunter, in my opinion.

Look, they all pander and that’s fine. But this, to me, shows that Rudy undestands that he has seriously ticked off the pro-life and most pro-life side of the Republican party. I don’t see much he can do now though.
