How can Liberals accept and defend something they know nothing about. This is the problem with the Liberal Left, they defend something without a clue about what it is they are defending. Then they assume that no one knows more than they do. Mean while, they criticize everyone for not following their agenda of blind acceptance. Why don’t they try asking questions instead of accepting things without questioning them? There is a wealth of information out there at their disposal, but they fail to look beyond the tip of their noise. I think they should be asking questions instead of making assumptions.

Kavakci opened by introducing what he would do: “We will pray by reading from first chapter, opening chapter, Al-Fãtehah,

Here’s another perspective on that prayer:

Imam Yusuf Kavakci: “In the name of god (not God), allah, the beneficent, the merciful. All praise is for allah (only), our lord (islam’s lord), the lord of the worlds (all infidel nations, you will see), the compassionate, the merciful, master of the day of judgments (we will hasten that for you). Oh, god, allah, you alone we worship, and you alone we call on for help (I am here, we are winning). Oh, allah, guide us (you infidels) to the straight path (islam), the path of those whom you have favored (Muslims), not of those who have earned your wrath (Jews) or of those who have lost the way (Christians). (the room is full of those) Our lord, have mercy on us (muslims) from yourself and guide us (muslims) in our (jihadi) efforts, (islamification) strivings, and (subjugation) works”

(We are in your midst and you can’t even conceive what we are doing or have the slightest notion what I just said. You will submit). Senators: AMEN!

SPIT!

Kavakci was there at the invitation of Republican State Senator Florence Shapiro, the senior Jewish member of the State Senate. The level of intentional ignorance on Shapiro’s part is utterly shameful and alarming.

In response to criticism Shapiro wrote:

Thank you for your correspondence regarding Imam Dr. Yusuf Kavaci (sic). I appreciate your perspective. I want to make it clear that my intentions were never to offend anyone. If I did so, I apologize,” she wrote.

“The Freedom and Justice Foundation contacted me with the request for Dr. Kavakci to follow the protocol set two years ago during their legislative day, when Imam Moujahed Bakhach of the Islamic Association of Tarrant County opened the Texas House with a blessing. Having worked with Dr. Kavakci on legislation, and seeing his resume and extensive inter-faith experience, I honored his request.”

What legislation!?

Being led in a prayer to a false God, by a death-cult leader in the Texas legislative assembly. How could this have happened? I could see it in a liberal legislative body, but in Texas. Didn’t anyone object to this Islamic propagandizing?

The apparent alliance between the liberal left and the jihad movement becomes more disturbing every day. Is it the result of willful ignorance, their shared hatred of conservative values, or something even more sinister?

Woo! Hoo!

Congrats to Mr. Spencer for his inclusion in the ‘fatwah follies’ (now playing at mullah-cracies on a planet near you). Thank you, Jamal!

Mr. Spencer is in good company with Dr. Randy, Charles LGF, The Baron @ the vienna gates, et al.

This does not appear to be a problem on just the liberal left. Is Senator Shaprio a RINO?

My father told me that these are the rules in this house, if you don’t like it, then pack your bags and leave.

KCtheKat on April 10, 2007 at 11:23 AM

Jews in this country vote mostly liberal and often side with anti-semites and people who would just as soon behead them. They’re their own worst enemies, both here and in Israel, where there is equally little understanding of Islam. And my Jewish doctor told me that.

PRCalDude on April 10, 2007 at 11:23 AM

Great Vent Robert Spencer!

The politcially correct Left simply does not understand that their multiculturalism and tolerance of Islam is a serious weakness in our nations survival. I do not believe that this will change until disaster reduces support for the Left.

omegaram on April 10, 2007 at 12:56 PM

Politicians are not ignorant. They are condescending.
They allow a man to come into their legislature hall and lead them into a prayer that tells the to convert or die. They did this not because they are ignorant. But because they beleive that their “diversity” will win them political points. They are not worried about Islam because they do not see it as a threat. If it ever did become a threat then either it will be on anothers watch, or the powerfull American Armed forces will save them (if one still exists that is). Mostly they do not beleive their is a threat to them from islam. The only threat they fear is loosing power (this is true for almost all the politicians).
So these politicians continue to do the most irresponsible things, and they do so knowing that the political clout it will give them in some circles will help keep them in power.

Instead of trying to educate them, or critisizing what they are doing organize and let them know that they have lost your vote. Let them know what you will approve of. If your voices are not loud enough to be heard then they will ignore you, and keep doing the same thing. And when they win their next election they will continue to do what works for them, namely ignoring the rise of militant Islam.

I have thought this to myself for years and it applies to the current “current” of dhimmitude sadly, alarmingly, flowing across this nation, also. Since the Democrats are, unfortunately in power now, I’ll ask it out loud: When, in their generations of existance, has the Democrat Party EVER done anything for America and the American public, local or Federal, that has withstood the test of time and proven to be an asset? From my years of perspective, yes, as a “thinking, reasoning, discerning” Republican, raised by Republican parents, I have basicly concluded that the Democrat Party has SCREWED anyone and everyone who has voted for them and their candidates. As PRCalDude noted above, including clueless Jewish voters, voting for Democrats who don’t care a whit about Jewish history or future. Gad, how more clueless can America get? As I’ve said before, quoting a former conservative, black, radio talk show host from a few years ago: “That’s one more for the BOHICA file, or “Bend Over, Here It Comes Again”. Ouch. Again, America takes it in the shorts. Batten down the hatches, boys, storm’s a’comin’. We need to take a long drink of some “wake the Hell UP!” medicine.

Roger Brown on April 10, 2007 at 1:12 PM

Absolute OUTRAGE. To let any one come and preach Islam to lawmakers, including a wholesale condemnation of 99% of all AMERICANS , outright evil condemnation to all non-muslims, is beyond Dhimmihood. It’s nearing treason, isn’t it?
We have heard kinder words from a sneaky enemy, but this went out to the masses with impunity.

Spencer makes a perfect point yet again.

Would that have been Larry Elder?

PRCalDude on April 10, 2007 at 1:46 PM

Spencer left off the one burning question: Has Imam Yusuf Kavakci had sex with chickens according to the Ayatollah’s instructions [described in Reading Lolita in Tehran]?

Drum on April 10, 2007 at 2:07 PM

PRCalDude, no, actually, his name is Ken Hamlin. He was on here locally a long time ago, probably the ’90s, sometime before Dr. Laura had a stint here after Rush and before Sean followed Rush. He called himself “The Black Avenger”. I think he may have originated here in Colorado but his website dropped off the radar screen quite a while ago. Pity, he was staunch conservative, avid cop-supporter and Harley rider. Miss him. Today, he would clearly be treated like Justice Thomas by the Liberal Black Community, as an “uppity Black”. Sad.

Roger Brown on April 10, 2007 at 2:56 PM

The voice from da Outer Voild.
Was that Count Chocolula, or the ghost of Bela Lugosi?

We are listening, but we’re not voting correctly, apparently.
