Video: Mary Katharine Ham defends Michelle on CNN
posted at 12:24 pm on April 9, 2007 by Allahpundit
Karol and I and another guest had a mini-birthday party for her on Thursday night in NYC when she told us she was due to be on CNN the next day to tape a segment about harassment of female bloggers. She swore she was going to give ‘em what-for about ignoring all the garbage MM has had to put up with throughout the years.
And so she did, my friends. So she did.
And to think, I figured she was just bombed on all those Whip-Its she was doing.
It ticked me off here momentarily when Kurtz read that comment about her on YouTube, but now I’m glad he did. You can’t really understand how disgusting this stuff is until you feel the embarrassment for yourself.
Update: MK elaborates.
Update: Deroy Murdock’s got a piece at NRO today about the hate mail received by the Tennessee Center for Policy Research after they exposed the fact that the Goracle basically lives in a smokestack. As usual, the threats directed at the women employees trend sexual:
“I was accused several times of being a ‘stupid, redneck bitch,’” recalls TCPR’s vice president Nicole Williams, who fielded numerous calls. “I repeatedly was called a ‘whore’ and asked ‘Whose whore are you?’ for three days straight, almost as if those were talking points… I was shocked by these sexist insults — basically attacking my gender.”
The calls continued beyond Williams’s Nashville office.

Come on States….
We have all these new IRS agents that need something to do..

ObamaCare is the largest undertaking in the history of the world. And it will implemented by the same people who couldn’t deliver bottled water to New Jersey.
Curtiss on February 15, 2013 at 8:50 PM
Only reason Florida went blue is because the natives in Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami voted for him. 90% of the state’s counties are still red.
Static on February 15, 2013 at 8:52 PM
The IRS can’t even handle their website for checking the status of your refund. Apparently, their server can’t handle it and are telling people to quit going on too often. And these are the people who will set up healthcare exchanges on the internet???? Okey Dokey.
BeachBum on February 15, 2013 at 8:54 PM
I thought that Obamacare does not authorize the feds to set up exchanges for states that elect to forego them. I know that neither statute nor Constitution is a barrier to the Obama regime, but doesn’t this create implementation problems?
obladioblada on February 15, 2013 at 8:59 PM
…how many doughnuts are involved?
KOOLAID2 on February 15, 2013 at 9:02 PM
From the Supreme decision last year..
The feds don’t have the power to force a State to do something..
But the Feds can do it themselves..
So I understand..
Electrongod on February 15, 2013 at 9:03 PM
But don’t the feds require Congressional authorization (law), to say nothing of Congressional funding?
obladioblada on February 15, 2013 at 9:06 PM
Way to go Gov. Scott!
BioTeachEd on February 15, 2013 at 9:12 PM
This is a federal clusterfrack, let them deal with it.
Scrumpy on February 15, 2013 at 9:13 PM
I believe they did (Congress..that is..Nancy with help from Reid and Obama).
Electrongod on February 15, 2013 at 9:13 PM
Good decision. Give them each some frack juice. ;-)

dont be blaming Jax for this mess. i live here in Jacksonville and the numbers at the end of the election showed we voted for romney here. it was miami tampa and the cesspit college cities that voted obama
katee bayer on February 15, 2013 at 9:27 PM
You don’t live in Florida, do you?
katy the mean old lady on February 15, 2013 at 9:38 PM
No, the hang up for Obama is that Obamacare doesn’t allow federal exchanges to dole out subsidies. Only state exchanges may do so. This was supposed to be incentive for the states to set them up. The IRS has interpreted Obamacare in such a way that the Feds can dole out subsidies. Oklahoma has taken the administration to court over the matter. If OK wins it will be a huge blow to Obamacare.
Charlemagne on February 15, 2013 at 9:48 PM
ObamaCare does not have to be the law of any land.
JellyToast on February 15, 2013 at 10:16 PM
Thanks for the explanation.

Can I say that that is the most hilarious picture of Christie ever?? It looks like he is contemplating his next snack.

I am guessing you meant to say transplants rather than natives.
Libs love to move from “Progressive” ie:highly taxed states to those with no state income tax. Many of them are retirees, but many are escaping from the bastions of freedom such as NY, NJ, Conn, the Midwest ect. They seem to do so for two reasons. One: the weather is awesome. Two: no state income tax.
Unfortunately, they are still Libs and rapidly vote for people and laws that will turn a “once haven” into that of which they escaped. They just can’t help them self, after all, they are Libs.
It reminds me of Muslims, they flee their oppressive country, once settled in an comfy, try to turn their adopted home into the same hellhole they escaped.
BTW, I moved to the Clearwater area from NJ 23 yr ago for reasons one and two.

Way to go Bill ‘the RINO’ Haslam. Not a fan of yours but I will take this and give you a thumbs up. Now, please, House Members, right and left, that love this country, please defund this awful monstrosity. Grow a spine.
FastTalker on February 16, 2013 at 12:18 AM
I guess the state democratic parties will be out campaigning against these governors now.
The administration knows all about campaigning, nothing about executing a plan.
virgo on February 16, 2013 at 12:34 AM
The law (apparently) is whatever Obama says it is–and the opposition won’t stop him.
Don L on February 16, 2013 at 3:54 AM
Will someone explain to me once again why it’s a good thing to make encroaching armies of feds come into each state to control programs instead of less of them doing it from Washington?
Isn’t this the opposite of what we wanted the King’s forces to do-get out of our hair?
Don L on February 16, 2013 at 3:57 AM
Ah, you are thinking of the days when the (federal) government at least mostly believed in the Constitution and the rule of law. That was before the self-proclaimed enlightened Obama-ites showed us that sort of thinking was so antiquated and un-helpful. (/sarc) Well, at least for the law side. They’re going to have to come up with new tricks for funding.

Way to go! Very disappointed Brewer and Kasich succumbed
ctmom on February 16, 2013 at 7:55 AM
Great Scott ! I’m proud of you !
Lucano on February 16, 2013 at 9:37 AM
I consider that a bonus.
Physics Geek on February 16, 2013 at 9:39 AM
Not really. There are a significant number of blue counties. Palm Beach County turned solid blue after Rush Limbaugh moved there for instance.
CorporatePiggy on February 16, 2013 at 9:50 AM
I’m disgusted that Snyder has caved in Michigan. The Michigan Legislature voted down establishing a state exchange. Now Snyder has decided to embrace the so-called “partnership” to get “free” federal monies. He’ll be out of office when the real sh!t hits the fan. There’s always free cheese in a mousetrap.
cheeflo on February 16, 2013 at 11:54 AM
Just one more sign of a federal bureaucracy that habitually bites more than they can chew. Looking forward to when they start choking.
yenober on February 16, 2013 at 11:57 AM
Because the Feds are going to run the show anyway, whether the states cooperate or not.
cheeflo on February 16, 2013 at 11:58 AM
I thought we had more than this.
DeathtotheSwiss on February 16, 2013 at 1:39 PM
We TEA Party Patriots in Michigan are fighting the government on a weekly basis to force our politicians to remain the course and NOT accept Democrat-Scare monies to create one of the supposed ‘state run DEATH insurance exchanges’. It is very difficult to stop STUPID when it rears its ugly head.
The MIGOP Convention is next week. I, one of the CREDENTIALED DELEGATES, expect to see many of our politicians cowering in fear. Indeed, they’ve been sending polls our way via the e-mails and phone. We REFUSE to answer those and I think that scares the elitists the most. BWAHAHAHAhahahaha…
Being relevantvent to the discussion feels very good. It definitely is better than being amongst the powerless outsiders.
