Conservatives have been completely absent on the resurgence of Islam. I guess we’d rather turn a blind eye. At least JihadWatch is well-trafficked.

We all know the score here. We all know that the west is looking at its destruction. But many of us are falling into the same trap that the MSM has trained us into. We are looking at the eye candy and ignoring the message.

Bush is an idiot if he doesn’t give him the Medal of Freedom at some point.

Bush still thinks Islam is the Religion of Peace. He’s still in moral relativism land somewhere.

Start drilling everywhere a rotary bit will fit within the USA and other friendly nations, blockade Iran until they clean up their act and seize their financial assets in the meantime, engage the Wahabis with debate here while evangilizing Saudi Arabia and so forth and so on. “Amateurs talk strategy, professionals study logistics”. In my opinion, another example of how the politically correct left has promoted “eduation” to become propaganda and misinformation for political gain to special interests. The Islamofacist is using the same tactics the left used to infiltrate publicly funded schools to mold young minds to their poltical views and disiminate propaganda – not education.

Only after not one, but two, major disasters will the electorate see the Left for the weakness it really is. Hopefully at that time, when nationalism becomes stronger, our educational system can undergo a wholesale house cleaning and re-evaluation.

It is unfortunate that so many will have to suffer before the Left is seen for the weakness it is.

Those with open eyes will still consult those studies of Islam by Western scholars which the careful myrmidons of MESA Nostra have tried so desperately to keep their students from learning about, much less reading — usually by not mentioning them at all, or if mentioning them, proleptically dismissing them as “classic examples of ‘Orientalism.’” This ensures that those dutiful students will simply abide by the judgment of assorted Rashids and Hamids and Khaleds and Omids, and never trouble themselves to actually read Snouck Hurgronje, Joseph Schacht, Arthur Jeffery, Richard Gottheil, David Margoliouth, Clement Huart, Edmnond Fagnan, W. St. Clair Tisdal, and a hundred others, whose knowledge of Islam and of Muslim history far exceeded anything possessed by the run-of-the-mill academics today.

It just kills me that our own money (petrol dollars) is being used to destroy us. With all that wealth, why not just enjoy life and increase the living standards of your people? Why wage holy war with it? The fact that they do tells you a lot about their level of commitment to jihad.
