No one cares…he works as an analyst for Fox. Because of that, the MSM and liberals (redundant?) will beleive the exact opposite of what he says, or completely ignore what he says.

Working for Fox alone discredits him from all of the other MSM and liberals.

“modern day Paul Revere”

Not a big fan of Mr. S’s pieces on Hot Air, but I do commend him for the excellent reference/imagery noted in the above quote.

Another messenger of reason that western world leaders will ignore, while many citizens comprehend the threat we face.

I hadn’t heard (or at least don’t remember) about the funding of the ME departments and how that basically colors our understanding of the region. It makes perfect sense. Very insightful.

It just kills me that our own money (petrol dollars) is being used to destroy us. With all that wealth, why not just enjoy life and increase the living standards of your people? Why wage holy war with it? The fact that they do tells you a lot about their level of commitment to jihad.

Jihad Watch Board Vice President Hugh Fitzgerald offers a glimpse inside the bizarre world of the (Said, Armstrong, Lewis, Sick, Anderson, Esposito-esque) Middle East Studies Association
here,
here and
here, with special tribute to
Juan Cole,
John Esposito
Tariq Ramadan (almost a prof at Notre Dame),
Khaled Abou El Fadl,
Edward Walker,
Carl Ernst and discusses “prestigious” schools of Middle Eastern studies
here with special attention to Brandeis here.

Those with open eyes will still consult those studies of Islam by Western scholars which the careful myrmidons of MESA Nostra have tried so desperately to keep their students from learning about, much less reading — usually by not mentioning them at all, or if mentioning them, proleptically dismissing them as “classic examples of ‘Orientalism.’” This ensures that those dutiful students will simply abide by the judgment of assorted Rashids and Hamids and Khaleds and Omids, and never trouble themselves to actually read Snouck Hurgronje, Joseph Schacht, Arthur Jeffery, Richard Gottheil, David Margoliouth, Clement Huart, Edmnond Fagnan, W. St. Clair Tisdal, and a hundred others, whose knowledge of Islam and of Muslim history far exceeded anything possessed by the run-of-the-mill academics today.

MESA NOSTRA . . .and so much more.

Great Vent Erick!

In my opinion, another example of how the politically correct left has promoted “eduation” to become propaganda and misinformation for political gain to special interests. The Islamofacist is using the same tactics the left used to infiltrate publicly funded schools to mold young minds to their poltical views and disiminate propaganda – not education.

Only after not one, but two, major disasters will the electorate see the Left for the weakness it really is. Hopefully at that time, when nationalism becomes stronger, our educational system can undergo a wholesale house cleaning and re-evaluation.

It is unfortunate that so many will have to suffer before the Left is seen for the weakness it is.

This happened to our universities with communism as well. We were socially engineered by the Soviets through our universities. This is the (end) result.

Nobody is listening.

Nancy kneels before the wahabis. The UN fellates the islamic sword. The West yawns for more bread & circus and congress sings another round of ‘gimme that ol’ time-y dhimmitude.’

Nobody is listening.

I blame government schools – literally.

A big thank you to ‘Stak’ and Mr. Phares anyways.

A Marine in full kit goes into TARGET and asks the manager for directions to the bullet aisle……

THE REST OF THE JOKE IS HERE.

Only it is no joke. And its on us few remaining Patriots.

NOBODY CARES ABOUT THIS “PAUL REVERE” BECAUSE THIS IS “NOBODY’S WAR”. Sorry Erick.

Kindly note that the rise in “political correctness” and the intimidation of other viewpoints “just happens” to coincide with all the wahabi/mullahocracy petro-dollars flowing in.
This is no different than when Stalin had large quantities of confiscated gold and (via Communist Party USA) funded the same type of pathology throughout the USA. Of course the USSR ran just a tad short of funds and Mr Reagan ran their overhead w-a-a-a-y up. And battled their ideas with those of his own.

Do the same thing now. Start drilling everywhere a rotary bit will fit within the USA and other friendly nations, blockade Iran until they clean up their act and seize their financial assets in the meantime, engage the Wahabis with debate here while evangilizing Saudi Arabia and so forth and so on. “Amateurs talk strategy, professionals study logistics”. Logistics are the key to reducing enemy capabilities and rendering them harmless. Any questions?

Isn’t there/Shouldn’t there be a law that bars donations from watch list states?

P.S. What does it say about a guy that headbangs to a political site? (Goes back to headbanging)

This really has become the “go place” for interviews that any thinking American wants to hear.
Thank you for a wonderfulVent. I could have listened for another hour or so….

Walid Phares is an American treasure, and Bush is an idiot if he doesn’t give him the Medal of Freedom at some point.

HerrMorgenholz on April 9, 2007 at 7:36 PM

Hey Babs…you are right on.

Longer VENTS please.

With a side of Bryan beefcake. And a dollop of Robert Spencer.

seejanemom on April 9, 2007 at 10:10 PM

Bush is an idiot if he doesn’t give him the Medal of Freedom at some point.

Bush still thinks Islam is the Religion of Peace. He’s still in moral relativism land somewhere.

This post only has 15 comments at this point. Slightly alarming.

PRCalDude on April 9, 2007 at 10:51 PM

Walid’s right… we’re gettin’ penetrated.

ScottMcC on April 10, 2007 at 12:33 AM

PRC, I was thinking the same thing.
If Michelle gets on and looks cute 230 posts. MKH gets on and smiles, 160 posts. Robert Spencer or Stacklbeck get on with a direct to the point interview and their are crickets.
MM and MKH are great, don’t get me wrong. but half the time HA looks like a teeny bopper fan club. 2/3 of the message is lost when a majority of the posts are commenting on how great michelle looks. When RS gets on their are a few comments about how important it is for him to say what he did, but thats it.

We all know the score here. We all know that the west is looking at its destruction. But many of us are falling into the same trap that the MSM has trained us into. We are looking at the eye candy and ignoring the message.

Conservatives have been completely absent on the resurgence of Islam. I guess we’d rather turn a blind eye. At least JihadWatch is well-trafficked.
