The lax approach to facts is what got Malkin into trouble when she worked in the traditional media – little wonder she has found such a comfortable home in the ‘new media’ – where she can get up to her old tricks without fear of, you know, actually being set right.

You know she works for and appears regularly on the highest rated cable news channel in the country, right? And that’s she’s often toe to toe with someone who’s ostensibly there to “set her right”?

What was that you said about a lax approach to the facts?

eminuu, if you have something concrete to say, then by all means say it. But your comment as it stands amounts to a factless smear of Michelle. I’m sure that was your intent, to imply that there’s some dark secret to make people doubt her. There isn’t. Libs like yourself can’t just admit it when they screw up or get snookered (as happens to every single person at some point in their life), instead you have to go on the attack to destroy someone else. What I found funny was that the image of the Sleestack on the television didn’t tip off any of the outraged liberals that the pic was faked.

They probably thought it was an RNC television ad or something.

THIS NOT A HOAX! The Sleestack image is actually a coded message signaling that Coptex agrees to delete all references to KKKarl and Bushitter from there servers and back-ups. IT really IS a Vast Right Wing Conspiracy and obviously the local TV station is part of that conspiracy! They put that image on the TV to let Rove know it’s working. That’s why Rove is smiling! And that is the trouble with blogs, like the ones referenced and THIS one. You can run off at the mouth, posting all sorts of nonsense, without verification, without fact checking, and without the annoyance of someone taking a pass at it and doing some real sub-editing. You just post whatever you want and people believe it, cos they love having their views re-enforced instead of challenged.

The lax approach to facts is what got Malkin into trouble when she worked in the traditional media – little wonder she has found such a comfortable home in the ‘new media’ – where she can get up to her old tricks without fear of, you know, actually being set right. I suppose that includes accusing people of falling for and playing the same old tired games that she does – without fear of someone editing it and pointing out the hypocrisy. Ho hum. Still, got to be worth a few extra hits, and a little more cash in the account.
