(Here in Dallas we were being forced to listen to repeats of Laura Ingraham and her voice becomes such a drone after about 2 minutes…)

He’s on the radio here up against Rush … overlaps with Rush’ last two hours. Its going to be hard for him to get any live listeners here in the Bay Area. But I like that he has the downloads of his show on the site.

My friends and I would turn everything into "grumpy old man" like this: In MY DAY we didn't have your streaming audio with your high speed broadband internets browser! In My Day we listened to static-y commercials on AM radio waiting for the interview to begin cause we were a bunch of ignoramuses, sitting in the dark with a cheap radio....and we Loved it!.....oh how we loved it. Miller’s obviously not a conservative–but he’s refreshing to listen to. He covers a lot of topics and yes–so far more than a few of his guests have made me cringe and fast forward. But it isn’t Howard Stern or Rush and it’s entertaining. The second episode featured VDH, Ben Stein and John Bolton.

Gold. SNL went through a real drought in the late 80s and Miller and Carvey were two of the pilot lights. Whoulda thunk 20 years later, Carvey’s Bush and Schwarzenegger impressions would still be as relevant and that Miller would be among the sagest political commentators in the game? “Bordello Of Blood” and “Opportunity Knocks” were poor indicators of things to come.
