That’s exactly what this show needs. MORE ROMANCE

That’s a cruel April Fool’s joke.

This is over the top and nearing stupid.
Slublog on April 2, 2007 at 9:17 PM
There’s that delightful episode-based plot promise again. The Supreme Court can be reconvened “well within the hour”. At 9:17, they had to add the “well within” modifier to make sure we knew it would happen tonight.

I should add – as usual.
Slublog on April 2, 2007 at 9:22 PM
Okay…now I’m pissed. I’ve been lookin’ for a reason to hate Ricky and he goes and pulls that crap.

Newt Dobbs will always do the right thing.
Slublog on April 2, 2007 at 9:26 PM
heheheh…that’s why I love HotAir. It’s either AP’s wit, Bryan and Michelle’s honesty, or the never ending culture droppings by the commenters. ;)
Newt Dobbs…hehehe…it took me a minute…

As always, my obligatory 24 thread threadjack…
The Prison Break season finale was awesome! Can’t believe I have to wait so long before next season.

These commercials show me why I don’t watch regular television. What stupidity.

Just read “Lonesome Dove” for the first time – I couldn’t help myself.
Slublog on April 2, 2007 at 9:51 PM
Ahhh…sweet sweet justice…

Just started watching PB this season…and feel cheated for missing the other seasons. OutSTANDING writing!

Never trust a former Commie, Fayed…
Dear heavens, this show is ridiculous sometimes. But I can’t stop watching.

The missile’s guidance system was compromised, and it’s headed for DNC headquarters!
stonemeister on April 2, 2007 at 9:57 PM
Gawd this show has so many twists. Addiction phew
flyboy777 on April 2, 2007 at 9:58 PM
who said ridiculous? Oh yeah! Slublog! Yep…it is sometimes that.
Hey! Maybe that’s where Audrey comes back! Her Angelic beauty in life so impressed God of His own abilities He turned her into a SuperHero Angel and she will just gather up the cruise missile and be done with it!
Pilgrim on April 2, 2007 at 9:58 PM
I didn’t see Audrey.
There’s hope for this season yet!
Slublog on April 2, 2007 at 10:00 PM
ya know…I’m beginning to wonder about something. I get this feeling that the final episode will be this 2 hour thing with lots of guns and explosions and stuff only to end with Jack snapping awake in his cell in China.
Pilgrim on April 2, 2007 at 10:01 PM
Yeah, I missed the first half of the first season… The suspense and twists are insane… and you get all the thrill of government conspiracy theories, without being a douchebag 9/11 Truther.
I always get in kind of a bad mood when I realize there’s only 5 minutes left of an episode, because I know they’re leaving me hanging, but tonight was brutal because I have to wait for months now, not just a week. What is SONA? Who is the guy who always writes notes and almost never speaks? Someone called him general towards the end, but he’s dressed like some kind of scientist… WTF is going on?! This wait is going to suck!

Halfway through the show now here:
I’m really getting to like Tom Lennox after thinking he was such a dork/weenie/pseudo-rightwinger for the first few episodes. He has some smarts after all, and some guts!
LegendHasIt on April 2, 2007 at 10:38 PM
Although it now dawns on me that Lennox may be even be more devious and ambitious and will use the tape to blackmail the VP for his own purposes in the future, (If the VP doesn’t have him whacked sooner… I still have a suspicion that the VP was in on the assasination attempt, if not its leader).
LegendHasIt on April 2, 2007 at 10:43 PM
Yeah, the PB season finale tonight was riveting/crazy/amazing. I would have liked a little more closure and direction than we did get, but as I think about the potential storylines in S3 I can’t help but feel excited and have faith that the writers will make it a hell of a season to (presumably) close the series. I say a little closure, though, because pretty much everything was left out there: What is going with Sara, what is going on with Sucre, what is Sona and why does Padman (the evil big conspirator) want Scofield there and to escape, where was he walking, etc.
That was one creeeepy scene with Scofield walking down that hall in Sona…what could that place possibly be? It’s obviously more than just a jail. But the thing I’m really excited about, is the potential team-up of Scofield, Mahone, Bellick, and T-Bag in Sona, practically fighting for their survival and eventually their escape. It’s S1 with a massive twist, and I can’t wait to see it all go down next fall.
