(Cue the Music)

(Scene Opens) Moonlight plateau in the dessert, East of Damascus, the “whining” of a single jeep crossing the switch backs ascending the plateau.

(Camera Angle) Helicopter view overhead, in and out shots, as the jeep whips up dust in the moonlight dessert night.

(Tight Shot) A tent, wind blowing, torches flaming, flickering in the wind, an image is summoned by guards covered in dust, with scarf’s covering their faces…. (Faint radio traffic in the distance….. the cocking of guns)

(The Jeep Stops) Rustic man with battle scars steps off the jeep embraces his comrade……

(In a whisper) “Did she come?”

(Tears in his eyes) “Yes, by the “Grace of Allah”, Nancy Pelosi came………. “Victory is ours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

(In the back ground on the TV)

“We are all Muslims, trees, the Sun, and the Moon, and Global Warming, any part of “God’s Creation” is a Muslim!”

What’s the difference? If a country is 1) on the State Dept. terrorist list, 2) harbors and welcomes every terrorist in the book, including the only living Munich terrorist, 3) allows insurgent terrorists to come in and out of Iraq to kill our troops, and 4) foments international assassinations of officials of a neighboring country it is trying to run through an Islamic terrorist group that murdered hundreds of Americans (Hezbollah), we frankly should NOT be there visiting them–regardless of whom our “visitors” are, unless they are assassins. Not Condi, not Nancy, not Jihad Darrell, not other GOP Congressman, period. None of them.

I’m not saying I agree with them going there, but if it’s on orders from the president, at least there’s justification by those making the visit. I won’t tell you what I think needs to be done, but it certainly doesn’t involve diplomacy. But I’m not the president. My point is, I agree with you that no one should be going there and talking, but those who go at the president’s request certainly have more business there than those who seek to undermine the president by having a separate foreign policy, and actively aiding the enemy by doing so.

Was her visit on behalf of the president though? It’s one thing if it’s his foreign policy, the outrage here is only partly because of which country’s leader these people are visiting, the main issue is that they’re pushing their own shadow foreign policy, as AP called it. That’s the real problem here. It’s one thing to bicker at home, but you don’t go around the administration with your own foreign policy ideas outside our borders. This only stands to benefit our enemies.

Did they pre-empt pelosi’s trip to steal her thunder? Did Pelosi suddenly plan this trip the minute she found out some republicans were going over first?

I know how you feel. Last week I was SO upset,watching the Portland anti-American demos– seeing that 20 year old (or so)wearing a fake “suicide bomb backpack”—pooping on the flag- those people not only
BURNED the flag,but burned effigies of our soldiers, and sung songs hoping for their deaths—then one particular whackjob pulls his pants down and craps on the burning American flag—Lets not forget, he did this in front of little kids.He was wearing a fake suicde backpack. He was calling for the death of our troops.—I am sick about this–I keep saying—who was this guy,can we find him?? Can we make him uncomfortable at least?? Can’t we find him and pay him back?
I watched a video today of the Oakridge Boys,and one sang a song to his parents,both dead,both served in WW2—and it killed me thinking of what a country—we are leaving to our kids and grandkids,compared to what WE inherited..We went from a generation of non-complaining troops who did their job and came back to work hard and raise kids–and ended up with a generation of flag poopers.
I thank God for the men and women who still think we are worth defending.
I dont know if I can totally agree with them.

(And Condi Rice has met with Assad several times, too.)

I can’t think of the words to express how this makes me feel right now…I grew up in the 30’s-40’s, am a Korean Vet and had a young cousin who never came back from VietNam…I’m sorry but I just do not understand these people…I hesitate to call them men because I don’t see a ‘man’ in the whole damn bunch…on either side of the aisle. We need to do something and soon.

Well Said. I grew up in the 40′s and 50′s and DoctorDentons, while you and will not see it happen, I think we are seeing the beginning of the end of the USA as a free Republic. The Constitution is either under attack or ignored in too many instances.

Seriously though, why is he not threatening investigations for the, at the very least, borderline traitorous behavior?
