Isa is pictured as coming to establish Islamic Law across the face of the planet that would legalize the execution of anyone who refuses to convert to Islam. Isa is pictured as leading the army that will slaughter tens of thousands of Jews who are said to be followers of the Dajjal. If ever such a person existed that could rightly be described as a “beast,” then surely, the Koran’s Isa is such a man.

Let’s review the various defining characteristics and actions of the Koran’s Isa upon his return to the earth:

1. Isa is said to return to the earth in the last-days near a mosque in Damascus.

2. He will arrive at a time when the Mahdi and his army will be preparing to pray.

3. He will be offered to lead the prayer by the Mahdi, but will decline in direct deference to the Mahdi who Jesus declares to be the leader of the Muslims.

4. He will then pray behind the Mahdi as a subordinate.

5. He will be a faithful Muslim

6. He will make pilgrimage to Mecca.

7. He will visit Muhammad’s grave, and salute Muhammad, whereby Muhammad will return the salute from the grave.

8. He will destroy Christianity.

9. He will repeal the jizyah tax thus causing the only option for Jews and Christians to convert to Islam or die.

10. He will establish Islamic Shari’ah (Law) throughout the entire earth.

11. He will kill the Antichrist and his followers made up largely of Jews and women.

12. He will remain on the earth for roughly forty years, during which time he will marry, have children and then die.

As we can clearly see, the Koran’s Isa, in both his nature and actions is far different than the biblical Jesus. Rather than coming to reign as King and Messiah over all the earth from Jerusalem, Isa instead comes to convert the world to Islam or kill those who refuse to do so. Instead of coming to save and deliver faithful Christians and Jews, Isa comes instead to kill and slaughter them.

Muslims are awaiting this Isa to come that will claim to be Jesus Christ. Isa would be presented as a lamb. If such a man ever exists, he will claim according to Islamic tradition, that he has been alive in heaven for the past two thousand years, waiting to return to complete his life and accomplish his mission on the earth. Such a man would be a liar. Isa would be a true student of his master, the father of lies. Isa would come to fulfill what the Bible expresses to be the chief boiling desires of Satan, to either deceive Christians and Jews – indeed the entire earth into worshipping him or to slaughter them.

In the Bible, we see that it is for these very purposes that Satan will empower his False Prophet. The biblical description of the False Prophet and the Islamic description of the Muslim Jesus (Isa), on all the essential points, are identical.

["Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." I John 2:22-23]

A little history on Mohammed might be order:

Mohammed, although never taught to read or write, had a very fertile imagination which was no doubt was fed and influenced by the caravan trips he took as a 12 year old youth to Syria with his uncle.

In the evening halts of the caravan it was the practice to recount the fables and traditions of the regions in which they passed through. For example, one tradition related to the city Eyla which was situated near the Red Sea. This place, he was told, had been inhabited by some Jews who began practicing idolatry and profaned the Sabbath by fishing on the Sabbath. Consequently they old men were changed into swine and the young men into monkeys. So, when that slur against the Jews is made today they are simply following Mohammed.

Story telling no doubt was a highly esteemed ability the talented ones having the ability to inflame the imagination with vidid colors and thoughts. I think the Koran in the Arabic has a siren song quality to it with its ability to inflame the passions and emotions at the expense of the intellect.

The city of Bosra near Syria, once a city of the Levites, was a popular caravan stopping place and was inhabited by Nestorian Christians. When the caravan stopped there one or more of the Nestorian monks took an interest in the 12 year old Mohammed and had many frequent religious conversations with him and perhaps on subsequent trips. They also knew Mohammed’s uncle was the guardian of the Caaba or Kaaba.

The Kaaba was the stone stucture in Mecca where the various Arab tribes made pilgrames several times a year to worship various gods. One of the gods was al-Lat which I believe was the Moon god- the god of war. The pronunication is very clost to allah in some parts of Arabia.

The Nestorians no doubt saw Mohammed as a potentially valuable convert. The Nestorians were streneous in condeming idolatry as well as angle worship. Their emphasis on the sin of idolatry no doubt was drilled into young Mohammed’s head.

So, many of the stories and teachings Mohammed spoke were simply rehased versions from the Old Testament as well as Christian teachings which he heard from various sources.

Mohammed’s favorite wife, of whom he had many, was actually a Christian who had been sent to him as some kind of political gesture. She never converted to Mohammed’s new religion, but staunchly remained a Christian. So, if a Muslim woman really wants to please her husband she would be well advised to become a Christian like the “prophet’s” wife.

So, Mr Gaddafi, the real mistake was Mohammed starting his own franchise religion with Allah – the god of war. Had those Nestorian Christians been a little more prayerful and clear in their sharing the Christian truths we might have a Christian Middle East instead of the bloody mess that is there now. What a shame.
