Terrorist fashionplate: Non-Muslims are “losers”

posted at 5:48 pm on March 31, 2007 by Allahpundit

I mean “ex-terrorist.” The “fashionplate” part is still very, very current, though.

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi said on Friday that it was a mistake to believe that Christianity was a universal faith alongside Islam.

“There are serious mistakes — among them the one saying that Jesus came as a messenger for other people other than the sons of Israel,” he told a mass prayer meeting in Niger…

“It is a mistake that another religion exists alongside Islam. There is only one religion which is Islam after Mohammed,” he said in the sermon, which was broadcast live on Libyan state television.

“All those believers who do not follow Islam are losers,” he added. “We are here to correct the mistakes in the light of the teachings of the Koran.”

I think he meant “loser” in the you’re-missing-out sense, not in the dorkwad sense. But it still hurts, I’ll tell you that. It still hurts.

Exit question: Can this guy really be considered a “loser”? I can see the argument going both ways.

When I saw “Tooting Man” I thought that was going in a different direction…

Manolo the shoeblogger had a great piece on dictator fashion once, and gave props to Qaddafi as the only one doing it right.

Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi said on Friday that it was a mistake to believe that Christianity was a universal “I am glad you are here to tell us these things! Chewie, take the professor in the back and plug him into the hyperdrive.”

So for two thousand years, Christians have been wrong? I doubt it. Jesus walked among us, and nothing Mo did almost 1,000 years later can change can that.

So, apparently, Jesus mis-quoted himself?
;)
{sigh}

Whoops! Didn’t mean to be all in quotes.

“All those believers who do not follow Islam are losers,”

I quess us non-believers are really S.O.L.

This from the guy who still pisses his pants at the mention of the name “Ronald Reagan”?

More on the other Tooting Man, and his fashion choices:

JOHN Simpson, the BBC’s World Affairs editor was in fine form in his leadership lecture at the Insider Corporate Elite function.

His tales of interviewing Colonel Muamar Gaddafi in a multicoloured tent, as the Libyan leader wore his straw fedora hat the wrong way and broke wind, were hilarious.

He made the point that Gaddafi’s problem is that because he is such a frightening leader he does not have anyone around him to tell him that something he was doing or wearing looked stupid.

see-dubya on March 31, 2007 at 6:07 PM

Losers, eh? It was the infidel “losers” who landed on the moon, your “allah” the moon god. Who’s the loser now, be-otch?

Tony737 on March 31, 2007 at 6:11 PM

By the way, Ka-Daffy, why are you still colonel? What kinda dictator takes over a country as a colonel and DOESN’T promote himself *at least* a general?

Tony737 on March 31, 2007 at 6:13 PM

Can this guy really be considered a “loser”? I can see the argument going both ways.

That guy rocks. He’s my hero. Very rarely does a story have 2 money lines!

One pilgrim said she had travelled for days to be blessed by him. “My sister-in-law came here and she got pregnant immediately,” she said.

Cooper added: “They revere me and believe I am a goddess. I feel what they feel in me. When I touch people I connect with them.”

Ha!

When I saw “Tooting Man” I thought that was going in a different direction…

Here too. After scanning the story, I was -hoping- that, in order to cure infertility, he farted in someone’s face. That would have an instant classic.

lorien1973 on March 31, 2007 at 6:22 PM

Muammar Gaddafi, that poor guy is still a few fries short of a happy meal…

Zorro on March 31, 2007 at 6:25 PM

So… when did Gaddafi Duck get upgraded from maniacal dictator to false prophet? *Now your journey to the dark side is complete.*

Mojave Mark on March 31, 2007 at 6:37 PM

OK let me get this straight. Jesus was resurrected from the dead and is alive forevermore. Big Mo (pig feces be upon him) is still in his grave. Gaddafi follows the latter and calls everyone else losers while making the mother-of-all trashy fashion statements.

There’s a joke in there somewhere but I’m just not feelin’ it right now.

I mean “ex-terrorist.”

… ex-terrorist holding European Parliament candidates hostage under sharia death sentences;

Bulgaria’s Jailed Nurses Top MEP Ticket

The Bulgarian medics, tried in Libya in a travesty HIV trial, will be listed as the first six candidates for MEPs on the ticket of the right-wing party “Order, Rule of Law and Justice”.

Polling gives hostages 59% support among Bulgarian voters.

Meanwhile, the hostage extortionist “ex-terrorist” taunts Britain today;

“This British reaction means that Iraq has become a British colony and Iraq’s territorial waters have become British waters,” said Gaddafi, addressing Tuareg and other tribal leaders in the central Niger town of Agadez.

Had it not been for some Christians in Syria there might not have been any religion founded by Mohammed.

A little history on Mohammed might be order:

Mohammed, although never taught to read or write, had a very fertile imagination which was no doubt was fed and influenced by the caravan trips he took as a 12 year old youth to Syria with his uncle.

In the evening halts of the caravan it was the practice to recount the fables and traditions of the regions in which they passed through. For example, one tradition related to the city Eyla which was situated near the Red Sea. This place, he was told, had been inhabited by some Jews who began practicing idolatry and profaned the Sabbath by fishing on the Sabbath. Consequently they old men were changed into swine and the young men into monkeys. So, when that slur against the Jews is made today they are simply following Mohammed.

Story telling no doubt was a highly esteemed ability the talented ones having the ability to inflame the imagination with vidid colors and thoughts. I think the Koran in the Arabic has a siren song quality to it with its ability to inflame the passions and emotions at the expense of the intellect.

The city of Bosra near Syria, once a city of the Levites, was a popular caravan stopping place and was inhabited by Nestorian Christians. When the caravan stopped there one or more of the Nestorian monks took an interest in the 12 year old Mohammed and had many frequent religious conversations with him and perhaps on subsequent trips. They also knew Mohammed’s uncle was the guardian of the Caaba or Kaaba.

The Kaaba was the stone stucture in Mecca where the various Arab tribes made pilgrames several times a year to worship various gods. One of the gods was al-Lat which I believe was the Moon god- the god of war. The pronunication is very clost to allah in some parts of Arabia.

The Nestorians no doubt saw Mohammed as a potentially valuable convert. The Nestorians were streneous in condeming idolatry as well as angle worship. Their emphasis on the sin of idolatry no doubt was drilled into young Mohammed’s head.

So, many of the stories and teachings Mohammed spoke were simply rehased versions from the Old Testament as well as Christian teachings which he heard from various sources.

Mohammed’s favorite wife, of whom he had many, was actually a Christian who had been sent to him as some kind of political gesture. She never converted to Mohammed’s new religion, but staunchly remained a Christian. So, if a Muslim woman really wants to please her husband she would be well advised to become a Christian like the “prophet’s” wife.

So, Mr Gaddafi, the real mistake was Mohammed starting his own franchise religion with Allah – the god of war. Had those Nestorian Christians been a little more prayerful and clear in their sharing the Christian truths we might have a Christian Middle East instead of the bloody mess that is there now. What a shame.

He wears a holy saffron robe and lives among 80 eunuchs.

Wait………. That’s Al Gore!

PinkyBigglesworth on March 31, 2007 at 8:24 PM

ahhhhhhh…..Gaddafi. Takes me back to the Good Old Days: early 80s, when the only thing that saved that monkey’s life one starry night in Libya was his eccentric habit of sleeping in a giant air-conditioned tent near his ‘palace’.

Gaddafi made it; the palace and an early version of the Dead Arab Baby ( ‘adopted’ post mortem by Mo G. ) did not.

The bombs which should have killed that jerk-off left from England and were forced to hang a right at the Bay of Biscay because the Frogs wouldn’t allow a flyover ( Spain did ).

After that Mo G. became much more…..indirect, but was still a paymaster for assassins. Recently he’s given up the Quest for Nukes ( or so one is told ) but he is, in my humble Old European opinion, is still a Good Target

SilverStar830 on March 31, 2007 at 11:34 PM

Hallo, Entelechy, kedves

I never heard about any eunuchs with Mo G., but in the 80s he was being ‘serviced’ by Red Army Faction ( really crazy-commie Krauts ) females who apparently believed it to be the Greatest Honour to Give as well as Receive

Looks like Kate Smith with a very big hockey puck in her head.

(I guess the hashish in Libya really sucks.)

profitsbeard on April 1, 2007 at 12:05 AM

There’s another point that deserves mention (someone may have said it already), and that is the comparison with the media’s treatment and reaction to Benedict’s comments. The pope subtly questions Islam’s traditional disposition for aggression, and the world goes nuts. Gaddafi outright calls non-Muslims losers, and no one will care. Granted, this was a prayer meeting in Nigeria, so the audience may not have been as wide as the pope’s, but should that make any difference? I doubt it. If Gaddafi had said this at a summit of the Arab League, the media would still yawn. And notice non-Muslims aren’t calling for Gaddafi’s murder.

Chris L. on April 1, 2007 at 12:20 AM

Chris, I see your point and believe it to be valid, but a large chunk of the reasoning behind what you note is that

BENEDICT IS A HIGHLY EDUCATED AND INTELLIGENT MAN, WHILE..

MO G. is a raving lunatic coke-addled sexaholic jibber-jabbering creep whose hobby was banging spoiled Euro-trash hyper-radical chics who hated their rich parents, two or three at a time ( the chicks, not the parents……)

Janos Hunyadi on April 1, 2007 at 12:50 AM

Hi Janos,

to clarify, my ‘eunuchs’ comment refers to the link at the end of AP’s write-up, on this thread, and not to Mo. G.

Btw, there is more to the German girls story you mentioned – there is a flourishing little ‘industry’ going on in Lybia, and other countries in the vicinity, by which Western-European female tourists are hooked up with young sturdy guys…well, just as companions or guides…Papa G. taught them well. Oil is not the only source of income…

Entelechy on April 1, 2007 at 1:20 AM

igen, Entelechy, you were not incorrect or misunderstood. I just couldn’t resist deflating the Gaddafi-created mythical balloon of Mo G. being some sort of Desert Aesthetic who denies himself Worldly Pleasures so that his people will ( in some Manichean reverse-daulity of results ) be fecund and multiply

To keep the generous funding flowing from him to the Far Fringe of crazy-left bomb-throwing-radical ‘factions’ plaguing Europe in the 70s and early 80s, Mo G. was supplied with willing red-bandana-wearing females.

As for the New White Slave Trade going backwards across the Med these days, I have no knowledge of such

Janos Hunyadi on April 1, 2007 at 1:30 AM

I think Uncle Ronnie(God bless em’) still might have a surprise for this Jacko/Jihadist……..orders is orders no matter how old.

Islam is not holding up well to scrutiny.

Connie on April 1, 2007 at 2:03 AM

Muslims use Jesus to deceive Christians about Islam. But the advertised Jesus of Islam is much different than the Muslim Jesus (Isa) that comes to reveal his true identity as the most radical of fundamentalist Muslims. This Isa that returns in Muslim tradition makes Osama Bin Laden look like a novice.

Isa is pictured as coming to establish Islamic Law across the face of the planet that would legalize the execution of anyone who refuses to convert to Islam. Isa is pictured as leading the army that will slaughter tens of thousands of Jews who are said to be followers of the Dajjal. If ever such a person existed that could rightly be described as a “beast,” then surely, the Koran’s Isa is such a man.

Let’s review the various defining characteristics and actions of the Koran’s Isa upon his return to the earth:

1. Isa is said to return to the earth in the last-days near a mosque in Damascus.

2. He will arrive at a time when the Mahdi and his army will be preparing to pray.

3. He will be offered to lead the prayer by the Mahdi, but will decline in direct deference to the Mahdi who Jesus declares to be the leader of the Muslims.

4. He will then pray behind the Mahdi as a subordinate.

5. He will be a faithful Muslim

6. He will make pilgrimage to Mecca.

7. He will visit Muhammad’s grave, and salute Muhammad, whereby Muhammad will return the salute from the grave.

8. He will destroy Christianity.

9. He will repeal the jizyah tax thus causing the only option for Jews and Christians to convert to Islam or die.

10. He will establish Islamic Shari’ah (Law) throughout the entire earth.

11. He will kill the Antichrist and his followers made up largely of Jews and women.

12. He will remain on the earth for roughly forty years, during which time he will marry, have children and then die.

As we can clearly see, the Koran’s Isa, in both his nature and actions is far different than the biblical Jesus. Rather than coming to reign as King and Messiah over all the earth from Jerusalem, Isa instead comes to convert the world to Islam or kill those who refuse to do so. Instead of coming to save and deliver faithful Christians and Jews, Isa comes instead to kill and slaughter them.

Muslims are awaiting this Isa to come that will claim to be Jesus Christ. Isa would be presented as a lamb. If such a man ever exists, he will claim according to Islamic tradition, that he has been alive in heaven for the past two thousand years, waiting to return to complete his life and accomplish his mission on the earth. Such a man would be a liar. Isa would be a true student of his master, the father of lies. Isa would come to fulfill what the Bible expresses to be the chief boiling desires of Satan, to either deceive Christians and Jews – indeed the entire earth into worshipping him or to slaughter them.

In the Bible, we see that it is for these very purposes that Satan will empower his False Prophet. The biblical description of the False Prophet and the Islamic description of the Muslim Jesus (Isa), on all the essential points, are identical.

["Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." I John 2:22-23]

Terp Mole on April 1, 2007 at 10:26 AM

Terp Mole – Thanks for the great insight on the Muslim Isa. This kind of education is sorely lacking in West today. As this kind of religious mentality is willing to murder their opposition – even by suicide – as a service to their false god, it is much more dangerous than the Nazis or other enemies whose motivation was simply power, greed and ambition.
