Kirstin is, by my standards, a drop-dead-gorgeous, um, girl (she’s major years younger than I am). Yes, too bad she’s liberal. Maybe time, and enough exposure to critical thinking that Evan Sayet talked about, her “head” may come around to truth. That would make her absolutely gorgeous: beauty and right-thinking brains. Right up there with Michelle, “The Boss”…time may be on our side guys…always hope.

I don’t listen much to Sean, he gets tiresome to listen to. His arguements are right, but too often it gets, just, well, tiresome to listen to. Don’t know how to say it differently. Especially with his recent, alleged, treatment of Debbie Schussel, using, but not crediting her work exposing Islam’s lies.

Thank you lorien, that does put things into perspective and expresses my thought and sentiments better than I ever could.

Liberals always try to equate every human action as equivalent to all other human actions )for example; the believe that one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter) in an attempt to remove the very concept of difference, the idea that not everything is equal and that there are separate individual qualities that can not be equally compared. The modern liberals believe that only when mode of behavior is treated as equal to all other modes of behavior will we have peace and justice in the world. How can we have peace when it is considered equally moral for someone to rob, threaten, and harm others as it is to risk life and limb protecting others from harm? How can there be justice when criminal behavior is equal to heroic behavior, when we treat the “poor” man that steals my identity to defraud me of money the same way we treat the man that runs into a burning building to save my child from incineration? It doesn’t make any sense.

The liberals want everyone and everything to be equal but this impossible as we can only be truly equal when we are all dead. The world is not equal, life is not fair, the strong displace the weak. That’s how the real world works and we can only ignore this basic truth at our own peril.

O’R is talking about what a world class clown Rosie is and one of his guests is a guy named Bernie Goldberg (I think, wrote a book The 100 People Who are Ruining America) who is in high dungeon about Rosie. He wraps up his comments saying that she is particularly dangerous because (wait for it..) her audience is “very unsophisticated”. Oh really, all those stay at home Moms, yeah you’re right Bernie.

O’R couldn’t pull away from him fast enough.

Me too. I really think the two of them would carry more intellectual firepower than just about anyone else on TV. And what I think would probably be even more interesting is the fact that, OK, for the first two weeks you’d have everyone talking about how hot they are, but after that, I bet you’d pretty much have everyone just talking about what they said.

But to take a step back for a second… one of the reasons I pretty much stopped watching commentary shows is that it seems like all the networks go out of their way to find personalities who are completely superficial. Basically, you just have a couple of hairdos chanting talking points at each other. I would love to see a show where people really engaged. That feeling of engagement is what I think is really missing from “media politics”, and is one of the reasons I read blogs.

Anyway, speaking of Fox, I have to say that their nighttime programming (aside from Red Eye) is vastly overrated. In my opinion, Fox’s best shows are the afternoon to evening shows, from John Gibson to Brit Hume.

Heh heh. That first line sums up Colmes in a nutshell. And no, there’s nobody that he wouldn’t carry water for, as long as they’re tyrants, terrorists, or otherwise heinous. He is a flaming liberal, after all.

And the last I heard, Colmes referred to himself as “agnostic” about 9/11 Trutherism. Which shouldn’t even be an option, because you either have functional brain cells, or you don’t. But if he’s not against Trutherism, draw your own conclusions.

KP was absolutely right, Iran created the current hostage scenario and the more protracted this scam goes on the more likely Iran will be made to look the fool at the end.

I can’t help but wonder if Khamenei actually thinks this will become another hostage crisis as if Carter has by some time space warp has become Britain’s PM or if by threatening Blair’s credibility any advantage could be gained.
Not bloody likely.
