Any of the “punishment” is simply a joke. Letting these whiny brats off with what they got just encourages more of the same, or worse.
…so since they are now emboldened, what’s next? Physical assault?

If the speaker were Ward Churchill and this happened, letftard students would still be marching demanding the students involved be expelled.

Amen. Maybe Columbia has finally gotten so expensive that even the really smart students can’t afford it, so they’re starting to let in dummies with dough? This is the same institution that has a Middle Eastern Studies dept that intimidates Jewish students in their classes. After all it was the home of Edward Said, who canonized Musim victimology. I don’t know why a censure is so bad, but they’re not gloating:

Garcia said late last night that Columbia had “brought shame on itself” with the disciplinary action. “They bowed to right-wing pressure. It’s noteworthy that Columbia reserved the harshest punishment for Latinos-two Mexican-Americans and one Dominican,” she said.

“Wrist-slapped”? This “punishment” didn’t even qualify as a stern look of disapproval, let alone a wrist slap. More of liberals’ patented “free speech for me but not for thee” hypocrisy, with a side order of “the lunatics are running the asylum”.

The video wouldn’t play for me, but if I remember correctly, this ~~brownshirt attack~~ “protest” featured the “anti-racism” of silencing an African-American speaker.

Disciplinary warnings place no financial or academic constraints on the person charged and state “that future violations will be treated more seriously.” [...]
