But question: Is he really sorry or just sorry he got caught?

Second Question: Is he really sorry or just saying that?
Tim Burton on March 25, 2007 at 10:52 PM
Better question: Is the judge sorry he killed her? He’s the one who told him what to put on the picture. Is the guy -really- sorry.

When the probation officer isn’t present, he gets to dance around the picture, flipping it off.

At least the judge didn’t have something tacky like ‘oopsie’ or ‘my bad’ printed on the photo…
Ugh…I shoulda given up cynicism for Lent.

The judge should have a phrase mounted next to his name on the bench, “If I only had a brain.”

Curious if they specified a height for the picture. it says 2 foot wide. What would stop him from making it 2 foot wide x 1 inch tall, so its like a wall border or something?
If he screws up; let’s hope the outcome is better for the next victim.
Figures it’d be florida though. Always is. This state is messed up.

Because hopefully they are smart enough to measure the frame diagonally like a TV…

Lorien, easy there. I am sure whatever state you are in has it’s share of bad decisions.

Polk County, son!

With a sentence of only two years, her photograph becomes a trophy. He’ll high-five her every time he passes it.

hey, as long as the guy says he’s sorry, that makes it all better.
One thing I don’t understand; the article said that the lead investigator died of a heart attack, and that interfered with the chance of conviction. I don’t understand that; isn’t the investigators’ police report sufficient evidence?

You are right-at least it’s not Palm Beach County AGAIN.
Lakeland is more like the midwest, quiet and nice.
And if he does screw up, he knows what’s coming and it aint pretty.

Maybe the judge will be the defendant’s next drunk driving victim. Or his kid.
