Good evening and welcome to Chez Hot Air; I’m AP and I’ll be your waiter. Tonight we’re offering meat, more meat, and nothing but meat. Our oven’s on the fritz, though, so I’m afraid you’ll have to take it red.

Blood red.

Exit question: How on earth did he neglect to mention this? Click the image to watch.

And who is this guy again??

Ringmaster on March 23, 2007 at 6:34 PM

I like Tancredo. He speaks honestly and tells you what he thinks. Isn’t that what we want in politicians?

darwin on March 23, 2007 at 6:50 PM

Allah, please update with your “comes a man … ” photo. I just love that pic, but I don’t know why.

People say that’s what they want … until they actually get it, then they scream like stuck pigs.

As Col. Jessup said, “You can’t HANDLE the truth!”

(not you personally, darwin, but people in general)

Re: six arrests required for proescution; last week the NY Times reported that the minimum was eight arrests. Or at least they reported Lamar Smith saying that. You could tell it was a lie when the Bush admin. claimed the firing was for insufficient immigration prosecution, because obviously that would the policy the administration would support.

Blizter blitzed past the whole “General Pelosi” aspect…

I think it’s time we threw Tancredo under the bus. There is no room in our saintly party for such hate speech as his, suggesting that Sutton acted out of anything but the most angelic motives in prosecuting those hateful, racist border patrol agents when they decided to use a peaceful, innocent undocumented pharmacist from our eternal friends Mexico as a live target.

Also, casting doubt on the military genius of Field Marshal Pelosi is exactly what lost us the 2006 elections, and it’s time we proved how much better we are than that.

As a matter of fact, the only gentlemanly thing to do and the ONLY way we can hold on to the moral high ground right now is for Bush and Cheney to resign so that Her Divinity, Saint Pelosi, may assume the throne that is rightfully hers!

SHAME on Tancredo for doubting any of this!

Misha I on March 23, 2007 at 7:15 PM

Also, we should not only fire Alberto Gonzales for doing his job and using his executive prerogative, we should all resign from the Republican Party and register as Democrats.

How ELSE can we regain the vital respect of the nutroots???

Misha I on March 23, 2007 at 7:16 PM

At the very end of the clip – what the hell’s with that evil grin? It’s like to smiling to himself…

What’s in his head right then? “I’m soooooo credible as a Vice Presidential candidate. Hell yeah, I am.”

Enrique on March 23, 2007 at 7:34 PM

So is General Pelosi going to order that the theme to Patton be played everytime she enters a room? She probably had to slap a few moonbat Congress critters over the last few days to get them to vote her way.

I’m looking at presidential material, here.

My pop-up blocker won’t let the vid run, but I refuse to let CNN send any pop-ups to me! Firefox rules!

RedinBlueCounty on March 23, 2007 at 8:03 PM

The fact that Allah didn’t portray him in the Photoshop rendition with the standard caption shows some hope.

Allah is beginning to see the light………….

Mellen on March 23, 2007 at 10:16 PM

Allah,

What is your problem with Tancredo? Seriously! All of your posts are confusing. I can’t tell through all your wit, sarcasm, and condescension what your problem is. And considering Michelle Malkin’s stance on illegal immigration, I can’t see why she would let you seemingly disrespect Tancredo every chance you get. With all due respect, you come off as an ass for no good reason regarding Tancredo (who happens to be more of a conservative than any other candidate I can think of other than Hunter) I could be way out of line here and totally misreading you, but just take a second to realize that there could be many other people that are reading this the same way.

“TUCSON, Ariz. — Guidelines issued by U.S. attorneys in Texas showed that most illegal immigrants crossing into the state had to be arrested at least six times before federal authorities would prosecute them, according to an internal Justice Department memo.”

This and a thousand or so other corrupted legal system migrant protections is why Gonzales, La Raza, MALDEF and about twenty million illegal residents smile, joke and condescend to the stupid as hell Americans.

Speakup on March 23, 2007 at 10:26 PM

I like Tom Tancredo. I think he’s honest and a good solid old growth conservative. He said what is on a lot of our minds.

Buzzy on March 23, 2007 at 11:38 PM

Tom… nice to see you’ve traded in your sword and Knights of the Round Table garb for a nice suite and tie. You look GREAT…. even Presidential !

Maxx on March 23, 2007 at 11:43 PM

Unfortunately, IE7 considers CNN’s video player “viral” and blocked it.

georgej on March 24, 2007 at 1:28 AM

Tancredo’s reasons for wanting Gonzales gone are mine as well (illegal immigrant panderer extraordinaire), although the timing would only give the Democrats a symbolic “win” against Bush, which is never desirable, and his replacement might be even more supine about the border, oppose the fence, continue GWB’s slander of the Minutemen (“vigilantes”, and not patriots), and permit even more infil-traitors to invade our country at will.

I like him, and hope he ends up as Secretary of Defense, or State (at least) under a Guiliani-Romney administration.

(They can appoint Hillary ambassador to Iran once the current regime is overthrown from within.)

profitsbeard on March 24, 2007 at 1:44 AM

Any repub that jumps onto this drummed up witch-hunt about the TOTALLY FREAKING LEGAL firings of US Attorneys, is off my list. I don’t care HOW you feel about Gonzalez’s stance on Immigration and such, THIS is not the time for repubs to pig-pile.

Tancredo..not as such.
Not interested in this guy… MORE FRED!!!

tickleddragon on March 24, 2007 at 1:11 PM

I liked what he had to say about the prosecution of the border patrol agents. Savage-Tancredo in ’08! (I know… I know… we’re not allowed to talk about Savage here, but I can still dream)

The “Congress can get all of the information they need” line was obviously rehearsed, though. I prefer when people speak from the heart rather than repeating a prepared talking point 3 times in the same interview.

Dave Shay on March 25, 2007 at 12:01 AM

Tancredo should get a second look from conservatives who may have pass him by as a legitimate contender in ’08.

When is it time to get rid of Alberto mecha boy Gonzales?

He has been a disgrace to this country. He refuses to prosecute treason, refuses to enforce our immigration laws and is an incompetent Attorney General at best.

He has allowed the MSM to commit treason by disclosing top secret military secrets and does nothing. He allowed Sandy Berger to steal top secret documents and then allowed career prosecutors from the Clinton administration to give him a slap on his wrist.

at the same time has either ordered or allowed Johnny Sutton to prosecute law enforcement officers and run cover for the dope dealers and coyotes from Mexico taking his marching orders from Mexico’s political elite.

He has participated in the Commerce Department’s SPP doing end run around the constitution to create a European Union and destroy our Sovereignty in the name of a North American Union.

If not now, when do we get rid of the treasonous traitor?

How long are going to drink the kool aid and refuse to see reality. GWB and Gonzales are a disgrace to conservatives.

The fact of the matter is GWB should have fired all of the federal prosecutors mostly Clinton hold overs when he took office and would not be in this mess.

ScottyDog on March 25, 2007 at 12:59 PM

. So true! If there’s one lesson to learn from the Bush white house it’s that you shouldn’t try to befriend the left. Next conservative president will fire all of the last president’s appointees post haste upon taking office. All he’ll have to do is say he wants a fresh start and that all are welcome to reapply for their previous job.

Mojave Mark on March 26, 2007 at 12:53 AM

Tancredo was the first congresscritter to bang this drum loudly, and he was the only one for some time. He has the integrity to accept the fate of being made persona-non-grata at the White House because he chooses to speak the truth, rather than cave in to party loyalty. He deserves far more honor than he is commonly shown here.

profitsbeard, you must realize that a Giuliani administration would not secure the border any more than a Bush administration has. Mayor Rudy made New York a sanctuary city, and in spite of recent and weak words to the contrary, he isn’t that strongly opposed to an amnesty. He would never consider Congressman Tancredo for any position of significance.

President Thompson might, though. I really like the thought of Thompson/Tancredo, but can we handle two men at the White House who speak plainly about serious issues?
