You’re nothing but an ill-informed flatulence skeptic! My son is ready and willing to watch a guinea pig’s behind all day long for evidence of farting! He’s certain it will happen. His research and resulting “all animals fart” thesis took 2.5 entire hours to formulate! You cannot deny the conclusion just because one skeptical vet said otherwise! Unbeliever!!!

I never thought I would see a Firefly quote on this site. That was probably my favorite episode, actually. What? I’m a nerd, I have no shame about it.

Anyway, I agree on all counts. I liked it a lot. The fifties PSA feel reminded me a lot of the intro to Fallout and especially Fallout 2, but that’s neither here nor there. As others have said, the true greatness of it was launching that sweet little kitty cat out into the yard.

Great job MKH, I can’t wait to see how you’re going to top this.

It nearly brought a tear to my eyes watching the touching moment at the end where the cat is set free to enjoy and mingle with the wild – mainly the soil. You might call it an environmental impact statement.

I also understood the deeper meaning of the cat richochetting off the tree branch which shows we must be concerned for our forests and those creatures which dwell under the branches in the forest

I have to admit there is simply something mysteriously attractive about a gal like MKH throwning a cat from a balcony – its hard to explain. It’s similar to seeing a young woman in the auto parts store buying car parts – guys are simply amazed, smitten and defenseless. This world would be a happier place if more women would throw cats from the balcony.

So, keep up the good work MJH, but please be careful in pushing guys’ buttons – we are just too vulnerable.

Another Beatles story. I was in a Peaches Records in Richmond in 1985 standing next to two Madonna dress-alikes. One of them had a Beatles album (yes, they still sold them back then) in her hand and the other girl asked who THEY were. “Oh, that was Paul McCartney’s first band,” she replied. I felt very old at that moment.

Now this so closely mirrors my own first “feeling old” moment that it’s spooky.

Summer, 1985. I’m in the checkout line at a music store in a mall in Fayetteville, NC. A couple of high school kids are going through the bargain bin of cassettes behind me. The girl pipes up, “Bread? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of these guys.”

(Pause.)

“No, wait! I think my dad has one of their records.”

And kudos, too, to the valiant stunt bunny. I’m so glad I wasn’t drinking anything during that scene.

And where was the press release about how all of the founders and original investors of InterMix (the parent company of MySpace) were members in good standing of the John Birch Society?

Stop denying the facts and admit investors that identify themselves as political conservatives don’t spend money on new media technologies. Then support HotAir Network, LLC and other conservatives that have the–yes, I’ll type it–BALLS to put their own money behind new technology and make it work!

My ten-year-old son recently did some independent research on this very topic (well, a similar topic–he wanted to know if fish fart). He discovered that, if a creature eats, it farts. Period. He watched our fish for an hour before being rewarded with some bubbles rising from the back end. Thesis confirmed! Though the topic did not appeal to me, I was proud of his independent information gathering skills. ;-)

Regarding the video–Great job, MKH! I really, really liked this one. The voice was perfect, as was your acting. Kudos, and keep up the good work!
