We’ve got a triple play lined up for you here. The first segment is from yesterday’s “View”; the guest was Rory Kennedy, who was on to hype her documentary about torture. Hasselbeck had the unholy nerve to ask her a non-leading question, thereby prompting Mount Fiji’s eruption. Next comes the reconciliation on today’s show, in which Elisabeth describes sending Rosie nasty e-mails while watching American Idol, which coincidentally is exactly how I spend my Tuesday nights. And finally there’s Gut, also from today on The Big Story, ventilating his stash of fat jokes. Good times. Chunky times.

I watched the video of the torture thing with Rory Kennedy earlier and it just made want to scream. Rosie has the NERVE to ask Elizabeth if she is going to ask a question or just keep blathering her opinion. LIKE ROSIE DOESN’T DO THAT EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Rosie is a great source for name calling etc, but really, what is her audience? No one of any consequence I think. A bunch of gossiping hens (and henettes) who are so far removed from the real world it isn’t even funny. They probably all vote exactly the way their husbands tell them to.

What is “The View”? It has always been a vanity show for Barb Walters and the other old timers there. It is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Simply a timefiller during which money is made by selling commercial time to sponsors. That’s it. That is all that “The View” or “Regis and” or “TPIR” is about:making money.
The Ego’s pretend they are special, say outrageous nonsense…Why?
Because it sells more time, moves more product.

If they put Hasselbeck to the rack for having a difference of opinion, the audience would probably applaud, and O’Donnel would condulct the torture, and think that she was just wonderful for doing it!

Thank goodness I only hear about the View via this forum or occasionally via the news. I’d go insane if I had to watch that program!

Maybe we will all be surprised and see Hasselbeck come onto the show and trounce O’Donnel with words and wit.

That would be something to see!
