Iranian paper: We’ll kidnap western troops and feed them to our fighting cocks

First it was Asgari, then Shirazi, then possibly Soltani. With Revolutionary Guard officers disappearing left and right, the mullahs may have decided it’s time for payback.
And they’re promising that once they’ve got our people, the cocks are coming out:
IRAN is threatening to retaliate in Europe for what it claims is a daring undercover operation by western intelligence services to kidnap senior officers in its Revolutionary Guard…
In an article in Subhi Sadek, the Revolutionary Guard’s weekly paper, Reza Faker, a writer believed to have close links to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, warned that Iran would strike back.
“We’ve got the ability to capture a nice bunch of blue-eyed blond-haired officers and feed them to our fighting cocks,” he said. “Iran has enough people who can reach the heart of Europe and kidnap Americans and Israelis.”…
One theory circulating in Israel is that a US taskforce known as the Iran Syria Policy and Operations Group (ISOG) is coordinating the campaign to take Revolutionary Guard commanders…
Military analysts believe that Iranian threats of retaliation are credible. Tehran is notorious for settling scores.
Analysts expect they’ll focus their efforts on Iraq since it’s easier to grab Americans there. Exit question: Hasn’t the tit for tat started already? We grabbed five guys from the Quds Force in Irbil in mid-January; less than two weeks later came the mysterious kidnapping and murder of four U.S. soldiers in Karbala. I wonder if Asgari’s kidnapping/defection on February 7th was designed in any way as a response to that.

It’s so hard not to laugh at liberals when they call the Bush administration “fascist” or “imperialist,” because compared to fascist regimes of old or historical empires … well, we’re pretty damn lame. Imagine a Roman Emperor allowing an opposition party to come to power and prattle endlessly while passing goofy non-binding resolutions undermining the Empire’s ability to wage war! Imagine Hitler or Stalin letting a Cindy Sheehan camp outside their summer home … or letting the Great Pink Xerxes prance around on camera for the world to see …
For such a Great Satan, we don’t have much ambition.

However, the taking of hostages is a very serious matter. C. Rice and Mr. Bush should get some and make very clear what would happen to Ahmi and his in such a case. Force is the only thing these ‘people’ understand.

I look forward to when the United States will loose patience with Iran and contemplates purely punitive measures to punish a sworn enemy for their transgressions.
The only thing that is saving Iran now is the Left and their influence in the United States. Iran, pimple on the ass of the Middle East that it is, will continue to push their luck with the most powerful nation on earth until it becomes obvious they are about to pay the price. At that time Iran will become the most reasonable government on the face of the earth – until they percieve the danger has passed.
Iran uses deception, deceipt and treachery as a matter of course. We need, we must, recognize this quality of our enemy before they are about to recieve retribution and become pliant to avoid destruction.
I hope that the United States will recognize them for the sworn enemies they are and take punitive action that puts them in their place and gives them pause next time they consider aggressive action against the United States. Punitive action that devestates their economic capabilities, destroys infrastrure, obliterates any energy prodution, anahilitates every military asset that can be identified, and level civilian infrastructure such as communications and financial centers would be a good start.
This action may be considered unrealistic by many at this time, but I believe that this action should be contemplated now – before sufficient cause has presented itself.
It is time for the United States to consider taking the gloves off with enemies such as Iran, and prepare for retaliation that will make them cringe at the thought of further attack. The presence of power, and the willingness to use it, is the only force that the Iran will respond to in a meaningful manner.
