Video: Sheehan advocates to stop paying taxes to fund this “bulls–t” war

Thanks to Gateway Pundit for the tip and for providing key quotes from Cindy’s speech to her fellow anti-American moonbats. These quotes continue to get nuttier as her speech progresses:

40 years ago there was a march on the Pentagon and here we are 40 years later with a march on the Pentagon and another illegal and immoral war.

I don’t want to be marching when I’m 90 years old in 2047 in another illegal and immoral war.

Let’s stop this Bullsh*t, now!

Do you know why our countires get into these bullsh*t wars all of the time?
It’s for the corporations!

It’s for the corporations like Halliburton and Exxon and Blackwater and to make them rich.

It’s to line the pockets of George Bush and Dick Cheney and all the war criminals…

We’re here in the shadow of the war machine.

It’s like being in the shadow of the death star. (Huh?)

They take their death and destruction and they export it around the world.
We need to shut it down. We need to stop paying our taxes to fund this war.

Wow, Casey was actually mentioned. Of course he “died for nothing” but still…

SnakeintheGrass on March 17, 2007 at 4:57 PM

No taxes. Now there’s a small government message.

Typewriter King on March 17, 2007 at 5:01 PM

I, for one, hope that everyone in that audience refuses to pay their taxes this year. And of course, I can point and laugh at them as the IRS comes to collect with the assistance of the police.

JG2K6 on March 17, 2007 at 5:04 PM

Hope she doesn’t pay her taxes. Let the feds put her away for tax evasion.

BJ on March 17, 2007 at 5:07 PM

Casey mustve been switched at birth, I mean how can a kid who volunteered to defend his nation and ultimately give the full measure of his life have ever come from the gene pool this swillbucket comes from..

Viper1 on March 17, 2007 at 5:07 PM

So out of touch with reality it’s frightening. She should be very grateful for her right to make speaches like this in front of Whitehouse. I tell ya old Putin wouldn’t put up with her form of shenanigans in front of the Kremlin and neither would the majority of the other 180 some odd countries in the world.

Yeah Cindy, keep believing that we’re the evil country, it will help your PTSD, I promise…

Roark on March 17, 2007 at 5:13 PM

Hmmm… isn’t incitement to commit a felony a felony in and of itself???

Romeo13 on March 17, 2007 at 5:27 PM

Well, she does have absolute moral authority.

Being the only mother ever to have lost a child in a war and all.

BJ on March 17, 2007 at 5:07 PM

The IRS under Bush won’t touch her. Now if it was a conservative tax evader…

Valiant on March 17, 2007 at 5:33 PM

I was in DC today, doing the Eagle thing. After the lefties wandered past, one of the DC cops said that this was the first time he’d been thanked by the protesters. They weren’t used to people shouting back, it seems, and it frightened ‘em, the poor little things. The counter protest seemed to be about the same size as the protest, though it was hard to tell. The counter protest certainly occupied more space. Sheehan’s crowd mostly clumped together as if they followed a herd instinct in the face of dangerous predators.

A good day.

TABoLK on March 17, 2007 at 5:51 PM

Those douche bags in the audience don’t pay taxes anyway!!! They’re a bunch of spoiled college kids who’ve never held jobs and will be living off of their parents for years.

And how dare this POS keep using her son this way. Casey re-enlisted and volunteered for service in Iraq, and he’d be ashamed of you Cindy. How dare you speak for him, when his actions don’t line up with what you’re saying.

That said, I like how she whines about the cold at the beginning, when you know she’s a global warmist (I’ve never heard her say anything about it, but I would bet you a billion dollars she is).

RightWinged on March 17, 2007 at 6:09 PM

We had a rolicking good time on LGF watching the rally on C-Span and making comments. It had to be the funniest couple of hours I have spent in a long time!
Toward the end of the rally I don’t think there were more than a couple hundred people there and they all looked totally miserable.
FOX provided very balanced coverage of both GOE and the marchers. Good for them as C-Span had no coverage at all of GOE.

Babs on March 17, 2007 at 6:10 PM

Thanks for carrying the ball for those of us who couldn’t be there, TABoLK–and anyone else who made it there and reads this. We are the in debt of you American patriots.

As for Sheehag and the rest her fellow scum, words fail to express the depth of my contempt and disgust. I’m deeply sorry that her son–or any servicemember–gave his life for our country. But what she’s done in his name against the cause he supported is just beyond the pale.

ReubenJCogburn on March 17, 2007 at 6:16 PM

I’ll get bashed for this, but I had much respect for her and her opinions when she first appeared on the scene. Now, sadly, she seems to enjoy her spotlight. Indeed, it appears to be what really keeps her going. This woman is pitiable in my eyes.
That being said, I wish she’d STFU. That woman’s voice makes my ears bleed.

“we need to stop paying our taxes to fund this war”

How much do these slackers and hippies and deadheads and other worthless types PAY in the firstplace?

Defector01 on March 17, 2007 at 6:21 PM

I don’t want to be marching when I’m 90 years old in 2047 in another illegal and immoral war.

Ugly people like you, especially from the inside, don’t usually live that long.

No taxes. Now there’s a small government message.

Typewriter King on March 17, 2007 at 5:01 PM

Beat me to it TK – first thing that came to my mind was “Sheehan against taxes; capitalistic idea”. She’s too idiotic to realize…

Casey wasn’t brought up by her, but by his conservative father and stepmother. They are very decent people. Saw them on TV a few times. Casey knew exactly what he wanted and that makes her insanely mad, especially that he wasn’t as moonbatty as she is. Some people are very unlucky in who ther parents are, in this case their mother is…

Media non-coverage of the Gathering of Eagles is shameful.

Entelechy on March 17, 2007 at 6:21 PM

For the sane people

And for the moonbats who’d have the insane thought of “why does the U.S. spend so much more than all other countries?”

Because the rest of the world is all talk and no actions. They can dream of a world without the U.S.A. only because the U.S. protect their derrières to shout against them freely.

Entelechy on March 17, 2007 at 6:35 PM

Followed some links on some other sites covering the Eagles today, ended up at one called http://www.mike’s america.blogspot.com. Lots of interesting stuff. Particularly interesting was C-SPAN’s coverage of the event today. They were all over the moon bats, but when the Gathering of Eagles asked if they would like to send someone over to cover their speeches at their rally, C-SPAN declined. They have a direct link to C-SPAN to comment on this lack of journalistic integrity. I’ll be using it, and then I will have nothing further to do with C-SPAN, which I have commented on this site in the past has taken a decidedly leftward turn over the past year.

tomk59 on March 17, 2007 at 6:42 PM

Does she pay taxes? Does she even HAVE a job? Well, aside from that soapbox she jetsets around with.

robblefarian on March 17, 2007 at 6:44 PM

We should encourage Congress to give the IRS dungeons of their own. I hope that Sheenhan and those that follow her are comfortable in them for the next 90 years, or accept an immigration visa and one way ticket to Chavezland.

omegaram on March 17, 2007 at 6:45 PM

The same way that pacifists can only get away with being pacifists because there are other people who have the backbone to step up and defend them.

Human Debris Descend on DC.

Typically, Al-Reuters whitewashes the moronic convergence.

Thankfully, Michelle and many others were there.

This groups biggest reaction was to cindy-al shee-hans potty mouth! That is a clear indication of their reason for being involved. They remind me of bevis and butthead and their childish snickering when they heard naughty words.

“Hnuh, hnuh, hnuh, she said bull$hit!”

BJ on March 17, 2007 at 5:07 PM

That’s how they finally got Capone. I guess there’s one major difference though: Capone provided booze during prohibition; that’s more of a public service than mama moonbat can perform.

How wonderful that she has dedicated the balance of her pointless life to dishonoring her son and everything he stood for. Bravo, shiite-for-brains!

SailorDave on March 17, 2007 at 7:22 PM

Do moonbats even ENTER the bracket of TAXABLE INCOME?

Saw Michelle and Bryan at The Gathering this morning first thing and I am up lodaing my photos to flickr now.

SNIPER ONE took some as well, no link yet …BUT SOON—-MOONBATTERY AGOGO….

seejanemom on March 17, 2007 at 7:27 PM

Did anyone else notice how many people with foreign accents were speaking? I have no idea if they are citizens, but I was unimpressed by them. There were also people from other countries demanding their personal grievences be addressed and C-span gives them the coverage whilst ignoring our own citizens. I did a google search on many of the speakers and they were convicted former black panther member, supporter of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, and someone said a commie italian broad.

I am proud of MM et al who promoted this, but I did not see Bill O promote it. I thought Hannity did, but I could be mistaken.

Anyway, some other moonbattery (paraphrased) from crazy cindy…

Impeach, indict, and imprison Bush et al

They are declaring their independence from this government.

They are not under the authority of king george

They are the deciders

Then there was the veiled threat of armed violence against the government in the persona of the “V” for vendetta character.

Compared to these nutjobs, run of the mill liberals look like right wing crack pots.

Besides all else that has been said here, she is the most horrible public speaker I have ever seen. Hands down.

Glynn on March 17, 2007 at 8:32 PM

Cindy needs to answer this question: Would the world be a better place or worse place if America didn’t exist?

She is still stuck on the tired old meme about evil corporations and the capitalist profits as the reason for the War on Terror. That is the depth of her argument. Intellectually, she is a kiddie wading pool.

Mallard T. Drake on March 17, 2007 at 8:52 PM

Pathetic……..not only the Anti-War protest, but the lack of coverage for the Support Our Troops rally.

PinkyBigglesworth on March 17, 2007 at 9:13 PM

First news report I saw today was about the anti-war demonstration. No reports yet about the pro-war counter demonstration. Go figure.

Lawrence on March 17, 2007 at 9:14 PM

I will never condemn anyone for trying to not pay taxes, even if they are traitors.

That being said, we wouldn’t have an “illegal and immoral” war if we just n*ked that certain religion that calls for the destruction and subjugation of all of humanity by force.

Tim Burton on March 17, 2007 at 9:16 PM

Praise The Lord! Today was a huge success for GOE. THANK YOU ALL who showed up in DC you made us proud! I’m so excited over the huge numbers that showed I could almost pee my pants! I wasn’t able to make it (husband lost his job 2 weeks ago) but, we watched the news all day cheering you all on. Thanks again & God Speed.

Death star, I see you in the morning,
Death star, a’ sleeping next to me.
Death star, let the memory of the evening
Be the first thing that you think of
When you open up your smile and see me, death star.

Good thing about war protests is all the great music.

Buck Turgidson on March 17, 2007 at 9:41 PM

Holy hamburgers! I was thinking of this today; only in reverse. Like on how to get a leftie on your side to cut taxes.

- The Cat

P.S. Such vocabulary, but good thing she only used mild profanity and nothing like what Coulter said.

MirCat on March 17, 2007 at 10:14 PM

The Washington Post mentions GoE, but they did downplay it. I was interviewed by one of the Post people, but she didn’t quote me. Maybe she just wanted my phone number?http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/03/17/AR2007031700539.html

USA Today interviewed a guy who had a megaphone and red-white-and-blue facepaint (he did a great job, BTW), but he doesn’t appear in what they have online now. USA Today also downplays us.

There were many thousands of GoE supporters, along the Vientam Memorial, to the east of the memorial, and between Sheehan’s people and the Lincoln Memorial. There were a lot of signs, “Win the War or Lose the Jihad” was my favorite. I swiped one of those, eventually I gave it to a motorcycle cop who was collecting signs to post in the Police Garage. The crowd thinned out along the bridge, but at a circle where the bridge traffic dumps out into Arlington, there were about 25-30 people from FreeRepublic. They had a big homemade sign that started with “Go to hell traitors…” along with some signs with a picture of Saddam getting stretched by the neck and the caption “Sic Sempter Tyrannis.” One guy had a sign with that kind-of-famous poster of a soldier drinking coffee, but since it didn’t say “How about a nice cup of STFU?” I didn’t swipe that one. I forget what it said, I wasn’t too impressed by it. There were a ton of flags where-ever the GoE people were, not so many with the marchers — almost none that wasn’t faked (with Israel stars, or the wrong stripes, or upside down). The Freepers had lots of flags at their circle. I did swipe one of those.

The wind was very bitter along the bridge and there at the circle, but not so bad by the memorials. Also, all of the grassy areas were very muddy.

Sheehan’s marchers weren’t well organized. They ended up pausing mid-way accross the bridge for about 15-30 minutes. Why, I have no idea. I’m sure the boistrous GoE crowd lined up next to the road gave them an earful while they stood there all that time. When they finally reached Freeper Circle, they started to go the wrong way around. The police had to redirect them towards the Pentagon. Considering they had a bunch of those anarchy wanna-be’s leading the way at that point, it should be no surprise that they would get lost. As other reports have pointed out, they were a mess, too, leaving behind the usual assortment of signs, placards, and Starbucks coffee cups. The GoE areas were much cleaner by comparison when I walked back.

TABoLK on March 17, 2007 at 10:18 PM

One group I expected but did not see was the ProtestWarriors. Are they still around? Their signs are usually pretty amusing.

GOE’s site says it was 30K vs 10K. We were the 30K. No wonder the Sheehan crowd was anxious for police protection.

I’m so very sick of the media misreporting everything.

Look, I don’t think this charade is fooling anybody any more. I think it’s time we just fess up, don’t you?

Here we go: Cindy Sheehan isn’t real. She’s a Rovian creation. Everything she does and says is simply a conservative parody of the absolute worst of liberalism.

Obviously.

But it’s gone too far. Way too far.

Nobody is dumb enough to fall for it any more.

And I accept full responsibility. It was all my idea.

Oh – and that Pink Xerxes chickdude at the Plame hearing? That was me, too.

Sorry. I just can’t keep a straight face any more. I broke three ribs this week just trying not to laugh.

Carry on. Damn the man.

I know, isn’t it interesting how “global warming” (read: GIANT BLIZZARDS AND EXTREME COLD) keep foiling the plans of the lefties and global warmist crowds? Cancelled global warming events, and these anti-war moonbats claiming that the failure in their numbers was due to the weather.

Oh and by the way, I’m up here in VT (if you didn’t already know) and we just had our third major snowstorm since Valentines day. I spent almost an hour digging my car out earlier today when it was approx 20F, 7F windchill.

The IRS is not very nice when it comes to evading taxes. I hope they evade taxes and pay for years to come. Many years…..

Hopefully the IRS is taking names. If not, someone should turn her in lol to watch her closely.

Also…what taxes? Don’t you need to have a job, first?

lynnv on March 18, 2007 at 8:15 AM

As a “tramp abroad”, I thank all of you that went to the GoE. It’s great to hear everybody reporting about it here at HA, because for some reason my CNN Worldwide is too busy running John Stewart’s diatribes this weekend against Bush’s S.A. trip last week to cover the rally. No wonder the world hates us! We can thank people like Ted Turner and the rest of the MSM, who chose not to air any coverage of the GoE! Despicable. Oh and great links entelchy, it’s no mistake that “moonbats” choose to ignore info like that.

What a perfect spokesman for the looney left.

What she says is pure moonbat drivel and the pitch of her screeching voice sounds like fingernails on a blackboard.

I hope Rush captures her opening comment, “It’s freezing here”, and finds a way to blend it in with his other global warming song parodies.

My favorite ….. Gore, singing “Ball of Fire”.

That is quite an observation. Wonder how long the dems would stay in power if suddenly the peace movement decided that they wanted to defund ALL of the military so they would no longer pay taxes.

So you’d have the Dem “tax ya till ya drop” leadership at odds with the Far left “not another dime” peace movement.

Wonder which one would give out first? I think the peace movement couldn’t handle the confrontation. They’re big and bad when they’re online or in large numbers, but when you run into one out on their own and have a one on one conversation

they seem a little … affraid of their own shadow.
