What appeared to be a transvestite Code Pink protester joined the Valerie Plame hearing wearing a t-shirt with the words “Impeach Bush” written on it. The protester made several signals with his/her fingers, one is shown in the still shot below:

Higher resolution stills are available here.

Update: Zombie is back from Nancy Pelosi’s house with photos of the pink peace creeps who are camped outside.

Are all CIA agents trained to lie under interrogation?

The Dems are using this as a way to fool people into believing they care about national security. It’s ludicrous. An why on earth would the Bush administration seek to undermine intelligence gathering about Iraq? The whole thing reeks, and Plame’s hotness vanishes (almost) as soon as she opens her mouth.

What can one say about such a strange phenomenon?

For those thinking that there is anything there….how can you out an woman that isn’t undercover? Just explain. They knew who first leaked: A lefty, Armitage. HE DID IT! They had the first leaker from the state department.

If there were anything wrong there, anyone HONEST would have frog-marched HIM out of the State department. For ruddy sake quit being so stupid and just explain why you keep salivating for anything else!

Plame certainly is confident she can lie to Congress in front of the whole world. That’s because she is a covert agent, a covert agent of the Democratic Pary.

Ya’ll notice the “CIA Leak Scandal” pasting by MSNBC on the video right before you click on it?

Nice disinformation by MSNBC.

lives are at stake. That’s why she was all over the media in magazine spreads and what not … cuz she’s “under cover”.

One Angry Christian on March 18, 2007 at 11:30 AM

I don’t know what it is, but every time Plame opens her mouth, it just doesn’t sound genuine. Perhaps she rehearsed it too much. Her facial expressions just don’t scream credibility.

Finally a spy who would do Ian Fleming proud. I was not aware that the public could gain access to Congressional hearings, learn something new every day.

And as trannies go, well I’ve seen better. A lot better!

I only saw a few minutes of the hearing this morning but, when asked directly whether she was “covert status” at the time Rob’t Novak wrote his article she replied yes…

Now maybe there is some nuance here that I am missing but, to a regular english speaking person that would imply that her status was covert and her name was not to be divulged.

For all these years I was under the impression that she was not covert at the time of Novak’s publication… So, was she lying or was she covert at time of publication?

Babs on March 16, 2007 at 3:17 PM

The CIA says she was covert. From what I can gather, that status was due to having been undercover in the traditional sense at one time; the continuing covert classification is supposedly to protect any network (s) she may have been involved with in the past. She is no longer at the CIA which tends to support that interpretation.

Which is neither here nor there for prosecutorial purposes–the statue that covers this states that anyone who outs a covert agent has to do so “knowingly.”

I suspect that none of those who outed here did so knowingly, it was more of an attempt to discredit Wilson. It’s odd in that had the administration not gone down this road, Wilson’s editorial would have been quickly forgotten. Strange.

Legend Has It that Aldrich Ames outed the entire covert network that Valerie was a part of, way back in 1985. Everyone that was part of it was reassigned at least 10 years before Bush even took office.

If Karl Rove and Dick Cheney had bundled Plame up in a trunk and shipped her direct to Putin and his thugs, Or to China’s MSS or even to Osama himself for interrogation it wouldn’t have made any difference to anything ongoing.
