The man is usually right and this is no exception, alas. I greet the admission the way I greeted the election results — forlorn, but resigned to reality.
Kid from Brooklyn heard it as it happened and e-mailed wondering what “throwing my hat in the ring” might be a euphemism for. To which I reply: don’t ask questions you don’t want the answers to.
Nice to finally have someone acknowledge the elephant in the room, though. Imagine how the left will react to the news.

Depite divided public opinion regarding Plame’s covert status, there seems to be unanimous consensus regarding her MILFdom.
Exit question: How, exactly, did an assclown like Joe Wilson manage to pull that? That, my friend, is probably a better question to be left unanswered; lest I, too, find myself awash in the aforementioned forlorn reality.

I wondered the same. She’s attractive, calls the shots, gets him jobs and she’s with Joe Wilson?! My guess is that she may have been doing some “undercover” work with President Clinton, (she bears a striking resemblance to his current girlfriend, Belinda Stronach and she looks a bit like a younger Gennifer Flowers as well.) Given that Joe Wilson never held a real job that panned out as well as being Mr. Valerie Plame, he most likely didn’t care. It’s just a theory.

I just find it funny that for a thread that is focusing in on the superficial, we are all over the map as how to acknowledge the elephant in the room. To everyone, I would offer the following: Lighten up.
I’m 43. I wish I was as fit as her. But I still have some room to work with. She still has to deal with that pending lawsuit (lawyers are going to have a field day with her testimony), as well as the fact that her husband is still Joe Wilson. As long as she continues to apologize and stand up for the actions eminating from that lying piece of human debris, she will remain diminished in my eyes.

She may look good but there more to a babe than just a pretty face and a nice body.
A Babe is a woman that is good to look at, nice face, great body, all the curves in the right places, but more important is where her head is at and what comes out of her mouth.
No matter how good she looks if she holds ideas in that pretty little of head of hers that are not compatable with yours then she is a waste of time. She will give new meaning to Love/Hate relationship, and believe me, the looks will wear off REAL fast.
Perhaps more than one on this site should start thinking more with their head instead of their lust. A good looking woman (correct description) such as Plame would a a Royal Pain the Butt to spend time with, and after about a day make me gag at the sight of her.
Plame may a good looking woman but is far cry from a “Babe”.

Still, looks go only so far. Character is huge and all this political nonsense brings out the worst in lots of people. So much in politics is plagued by agendas instead of answers and solutions. “Global Warming” is more political than scientific. The Iraq War debate is more political than military it seems in Washington and yes, even this Plame Case is more politics than substance it seems.

Many here need to really lighten up. When you are talking MILF, “hitting it”, or “throwing your hat in the ring” you aren’t interested in talking politics with the woman and your brain ain’t what you are looking to stimulate. Preferably, there is no talking at all.
The difference is that if I had the opportunity for a couple of hours romping with VP versus say, an hour lunch discussing topics of the day with Michelle? I’d take the lunch because I’d remember for it for years. Her being stunningly attractive would be gravy and make the lunch that more pleasant–but it wouldn’t be thing I’d remember most.

I agree, but for me, and apparently others as well, the issue is not where she is on the babe-o-meter, but rather what Rush said and more importantly WHY he said it.
I’d think by now, most people who listen to Rush know that when he says outrageous stuff like this, it is his way of imparting a deeper message. It bothers me that conservatives get hung up on the sexual part of this instead of focusing on the point he was making. Having said that, I am not sure what he was getting at, but three possibilities come to mind.
1) Making a correlation between Ann’s remark and his.
2) I didn’t watch the Plame hearing, but perhaps it was somewhat of a lovefest and a farce and Plame was treated as a “babe” instead of a witness.
3) Plame worth to the CIA may have been that of only her “babeishness”.
I’m not criticizing for the sake of criticizing. I’d like to get people thinking a bit deeper and elevate the discussion beyond the obvious when the “obvious” isn’t so obvious.

It wasn’t a passing remark that Rush made, but a calculated ploy. After all, he repeated it … almost word for word, indicating the words were carefully chosen… and even closed his show with it, speaking in a deliberate, taunting manner.
Rush is actively drawing their fire, and I’ll be watching for his end game to emerge Sounds to me like Rush knows something he’s not prepared to say yet, and this was a teaser for things to come.
I’m certain his intent goes beyond simply leaking them off.
As noted above, the guy is about ten levels deep.

Unfortunately, her “covert” position seems to be to help bring down a lawfully-elected, sitting president — so “babe” is too frivolous, even in jest. Partisan-Hack-Babe … Traitor-Babe … Anarchy-Babe … Fascist Babe? What is the name for someone who does not want a president who was elected in a democratic vote, by the majority of the people, to be allowed to complete his term unmolested? She can’t wait 24 months? Too hard? Think about what she and her husband have been engaged in – a man who had nothing to do with them is going to jail, for nothing, just used coolly as a tool, using his head as a stepping stone to get to his bosses. That man has a wife and a family, too. Plame, theatrically conjuring up the image of tucking her children into bed, to give her the air of docileness, cares nothing for that man’s distress, something she helped engineer. She’s a “sweetheart” all right. Strip away her Democrat Party/MSM enabling cover and it’d be a startlingly ugly sight.
