Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) slipped in a compliment — of sorts — about a fellow 2008 hopeful during his appearances on the Iowa stump last weekend.
“I want to wait and hear what John Edwards has to say, he’s kind of good-looking,” Obama envisioned Iowa caucus-goers from the small town of Clinton telling themselves. During an appearance in West Burlington, Iowa, the phrase appeared again, this time with Edwards as “kind of cute.”
Maybe Hillary will denounce this kind of talk?
Might this be Obama’s version of “silky pony?”

For myself, I just end up back at the post every time. I do use FF 2, but I’m not sure how strong a bearing that has on the result…
I think Obama is angling for the ambiguously gay position; be a little of everything and all of nothing and every nothing will vote for you..

Think about it — this is a pretty smart move by BHO. Nobody wants a President who is “kind of cute.” Obama gets a zinger in, while looking polite — in a gay kind of way. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

When somebody called Obama articulate (which I personally would take as a compliment) there was quite the uproar…isn’t “kind of cute” demeaning to Edwards? Doesn’t this minimize his serousness as a candidate? Why isn’t the MSM harping about this? /sarc
