To precisely the same extent that John Edwards is concerned about right-wing bias at Fox.

I can’t stand Imus and as for Up-Chuck, forget about it!!

NEMETI IN SYRACUSE on March 10, 2007 at 4:46 PM

Oy vey, Chuck Schumer is indignant!

If he wouldn’t be such a melodramatic TV-whore all the time I might believe him.

“I probalby should have gone there”

Yeah…what held you back?

Entelechy on March 10, 2007 at 5:04 PM

If UpChuck thought there were news cameras at Walter Reed Army Hospital, you can bet your sweet ass he’d have “gone there”.

The most dangerous place to be is between this media whore and a camera & microphone.

Hillary’s lapdog claims he’s been to lots of VA hospitals, all over his state. Visitors have to sign in, don’t they? A bit of research could prove this true or false.

Nice to see that Imus can be relevant every once in a blue moon or so.

These problems have been around for 70 years. I am more concerned with the fact that Chuck and his party are just now showing concern. Where have they been? These problems didn’t just start, although Bush is the obvious taqrget, they have been festering for many Congressional sessions..Why the hell didn’t either party take action sooner? Why are the aides going rather than the senator!

1st good think Imus has done in a long time

Wade on March 10, 2007 at 6:18 PM

Yeah…what held you back?

No cameras

Wade on March 10, 2007 at 6:29 PM

MSNBC? oh, yea, that channel I blocked.

Imus… that fake cowboy I try to block out.

Dimocraps are jealous because THEY didn’t come up with this weak attempt to smear Bush first.

Cut $20 Bil from the ‘08 budget, huh? Defund us, huh? Screw you, Schumer.

Mazztek on March 10, 2007 at 7:31 PM

Imus has been using this to bash Bush for quite a while. As usual, it’s really all about him, he doesn’t give a damn about the troops, he just does it to bring the moonbats to his show.

Imus was a Marine. Played in the band but I think he played in the choir.

I know, doesn’t mean he gives a damn about the troops though, he doesn’t. Imus and the rest of the chumps at MSNBC only focus on this to bring the liberal fools to their shows.

When the republicans are in charge of the congress for 12 years and this is the state of Walter Reed and the VA are in, they deserve the lions share of the blame. They screwed it up bad. I am not going to accept any excuses for all the scandals and poor performance.

But, slick chucky doesn’t fool me for one second. The only reason he and his ilk even care about this issue is so they can embarass Bush and co.

Being a Texas boy I have just one thing to say to Mr. Emu……..’why aint you a dandy’.

Schumooozer has about the same integrity as that lawyer fella in the TV ads at 2:00am looking for your class-action business. It really gets my goat. The VA has been screwed up for generations not just since 01. Americans aren’t stupid. The VA has had a black eye as far back as any here can remember. Where was Schumooozer and Emu then?

The problem with these guys is that they only seem to care if it benefits them politically. They really deep down could give two shits. THAT makes me ill.

Highrise on March 11, 2007 at 12:52 AM

If you think Iraq is a dangerous place to be, just get between Chuckie Schumer and a TV camera.

DoctorDentons on March 11, 2007 at 6:05 AM

Could Imus be characterized as “Speaking Smack to Dorks”?

I doubt Chuckie has ever set foot in a military hospital or a veterans hospital.

gary on March 11, 2007 at 10:48 AM

This is BS Chucky just didn’t give a rip period. He lives in DC and it must have been hard to pry him from Durbin and his other two liberal roomates. As powerfull as he is, he just didn’t care period. I, like others see through this BS just like Imanwoman did. They are both turds in my estimation.

bones47 on March 11, 2007 at 3:48 PM

No one should doubt that Chuckie Schumer is anti-military. Any concern he expresses about medical care for the military is phony. In fact, Chuckie Schumer is a phony about everything.

Imus is a lefty who spends most of his time bashing Bush. He must have become bored and decided to give Chuckie Schumer the hard time that Chuckie Schumer deserved.
