Certainly seems like the same woman to me. Same story as well, PTSD, suicide, poem, etc.

I couldn’t tell where the video was shot though, it sounded like she said “Show Me State”. Does she really live there or is she just claiming she recently moved there?

It also shows she’e more concerned with defunding the war than her own “son”. If she had a problem with her “son” getting treatment somewhere, I could see her trying to go to HER congressman, but going to several, when she doesn’t even live in their district, would just be useless.
Most Congressmen won’t give the time of day to anyone who lives outside their district.

Now, if he is in the Reserves, who does he go to for medical? If he’s active reserves it seems he should go through his UNIT to get himself help if this is PTSD or a service related injury. If he’s having problems, then he has a whole Chain of Command to ask for redress…. he is essentialy bypassing the chain of Command here (through his Mother)…

If he’s a reservist, he goes through the VA. For the Army it is for two years after the completion of their tour, I don’t know if the time period for the Marines is the same.

I can’t speak for any other VA, but the care at the VA where my husband was seen was amazing – it blew all of my preconceived notions right out of the water.

I’m with Pablo, she fabricated the story of her son the war hero. For accuracy’s sake, depending on location and circumstances, a full-blown psych eval (the complaint being PTSD with suicide attempts) MAY be outsourced to a VA medical facility, even for an active duty member. That said, such arrangements for an active duty Marine would still be handled by the Naval hospital, NOT the VA.

Little doubt in my mind she used the story to draw enough sympathy that he’d hear her out for more than ten seconds, so she could launch into her real point of interest.

Does anyone else find it strangely immoral that the loony left always uses the suffering of their loved ones as political tools?

I have seen homos drag out the name of their friends that died froms aids in the public forum. Here this moonbat talks about her sons attempted suicides and then posts the video for the world to see? Then of course we have the jersey girls who are trying to make political hay with their husbands names.

I guess someone better think up a way that we conservatives can change their minds by setting some kind of better example. Consevatives don’t do this and that example isn’t working. Someone MUST have a better idea, right?
