It’s not a war to win, it’s a problem to be solved” - Nancy Pelosi 2006

The Shiites and the Sunnis may hate each other, but they certainly have no problem working together to destroy Israel and attack Americans.

Great Vent Robert Spencer!

Robert Spencer seems to make so much sense out of an otherwise confusing and contradictory situation with Muslim conflicts. I wish he would directly address the issue of what constitutes a “moderate” Muslim.

MANCHESTER – The Islamic Society of Greater Manchester will host a renowned and, to some, controversial American Islamic scholar as keynote speaker at a fundraiser to help finance their continuing efforts to build the first mosque in New Hampshire.

When will the US wake up and stop this threat before something terrible happens?

freakagriep on March 8, 2007 at 2:03 PM

Robert Spencer,

What an excellent speaker!

You present your material very well, and you help keep us informed regarding Jihadi shenanigans.

Thank you!

When will the US wake up and stop this threat before something terrible happens?

freakagriep on March 8, 2007 at 2:03 PM

“freakagriep,”

Never?

I don’t expect the US to wake up. As a country our minds have been poisoned and are too locked into a mindset, a consciousness, which is enabling to such horrific, hate filled, deceptive, malicious movements as we see today, and as Robert Spencer, Steven Emerson, Daniel Pipes, Hirsi Ali, and others have been screaming from the mountaintops about, but our fellow world citizens ignore.

I see our own country like a family who is moving into a new home. When two or three out of seven in the family try to life the piano and move it from the truck to the house, the other five or six do everything they can to make it impossible to succeed in moving the piano from the truck into the house. They will climb on the piano to make it heavier. If that does not work then they will jump up and down on the piano to make it impossible to carry it. They will stack other objects on top of it, along with their own weight. Some will try to trip those carrying the piano, they will tie their legs so those carrying the piano cannot walk.

The obstructionists will even try to push the other way, making it impossible to walk toward the house with the piano. They will even stab those carrying the piano with knives, in the legs, the chest, the arms, the hands, anything they can do to sabotage success!

The obstructionists will yell, scream, curse, insult, and even take the children of those carrying the piano and abuse them in the sight of those trying to move the heavy weight and accomplish something.

They are ruthless, mean spirited, demented individuals and they number in the millions, and they are on the side of failure, the side of suffering, the side of malevolence, the side of all that is out to hurt our country and make our lives more difficult, more miserable, and they are on the side of the militant, violent, hate filled, misguided Jihadis.

That is just the US itself. The rest of the world is as bad or worse, afraid to stand up to Jihadi hatred and violence, but always willing to assault, insult, and burden the US and her citizens.

I do not have faith in at least 1/2 of the population of the US and at least 1/2 of the population of the rest of the world, and the UN is nothing but a club to have chats in, and to criticize the US and Israel, and prop up dictators, kings, and the like.

Thank you Mr. Spencer. You’ve taught us all so much.

I don’t expect the citizens of this country to stand up for their beliefs when they have been conditioned to kowtow to the PC police.

We have to engage in limited extremism on the right so as to shift the perception of the center towards the right. Only then will the american public be comfortable speaking their hearts and shaping conservative policies.

Good job, Robert. We need regime change in Iran yesterday.

Connie on March 8, 2007 at 5:08 PM

Great report Mr. Spencer. Thank you for your commitment to exposing the truth and keep up the good work.

RedinBlueCounty on March 8, 2007 at 5:40 PM

Great Vent Robert.

So, leveraging the Sunni against the Shite could help throw Iran off balance, possibility opening up some opportunities to “stir the pot” inside Iran.

Zorro on March 8, 2007 at 9:20 PM

I’ll tell you, I learn more from Robert Spencer on the interworkings of the Muslim world than from anyone else.
