Heart-ache: CNN misspells American political icon’s name

Ain’t no such thing as accidents.
Except in this case, probably.

There are quite a few immigration hardliners over there. Maybe they just wanted to punish him for his newfound interest in guest-worker programs.

Blowback

At the risk of appearing a stickler, the first “C” in MCCAIN should be lower case.
And, given the nihilistic tendencies of the top-placed finisher, that might need to be changed to Hegel. There… I think I addressed all the glaring mistakes I noticed.

NAU doesn’t like trannies!

If they can’t spell it Tancredo right, they can’t report it correct.
Consider the source.
Da Evlin Sped Reding Corse, required for CNN reporters.

All the letters in everyone’s names is upper case. Apparently, the poll is so important, they had to yell it at us.

Why is Dick Durbin dresses as the pope? I’m sure that’s not what it’s supposed to be, but that’s what it looks like.

Sometimes a guy just wants to feel pretty.

Yeah. He sounds real gung ho about the prospect.
I think most reasonable Americans would allow certain highly educated and highly skilled guest workers to come here if there was a dire need for their services, as long as that guest worker is completely insured and isn’t a liability to the taxpayer.
Anywhere from 100 to 200 guest workers in the country at a time shouldn’t be a problem. Maybe an Iranian General doing some freelance work for the DOD…I could live with that.

Here you go Allah… I found you this nice picture of Tancredo so you don’t have to use that weird photoshopped image all the time. Nice of me….. hun? He’s you sponsor you know, you ought to cut him some slack sometimes.

They DID misspell the name at the top of the list. The correct spelling is:
“Shmekel”

Now I have a weird mental image of the Swiss Guard playing extras in a Vatican production of West Side Story. That’s gonna take some time to shake off.
But Rita Moreno still looks fabulous!

Here’s another bad typo:
Coluter’s Slur Puts Spotlight on Edwards
Nearly two days and no correction. Which doesn’t say much for the moonbat author.

LOL, true, true.
Leave it to CNN to run a backwards poll so scHmagel makes it to the top of the list.
Behold the power of law enforcement and unapologetic Conservatism.

Right about now, the more the RNC dislikes the person, the more I like them.

Very clever SD. Made me smile with satisfaction at the level of reading/thinking which goes on here :) Regards,

How about a compromise?
Mark Jaquith on March 9, 2007 at 12:42 AM
Come to think of it, “Chuck Shmekel” actually DOES have some comedic potential, but I’d probably get sent to rehab if I explained it, so I’ll leave it alone.

My president is Tancredo.
archon2001 on March 9, 2007 at 8:41 AM
Oh he’s funny alright. The question is, if we all laugh at Chucki will HE leave it alone?
Speakup on March 9, 2007 at 10:09 AM
Is it just me, or does Tancredo look kind of baked in that photo?
It’s just me, isn’t it?

When was literacy ever a prerequisite for getting a job at CNN?
