The report said that Assad became enraged and launched into an angry tirade, cursing the Iranians at the end of the conversation.

I would have loved to have been Karl Rove (you know, listening to everyone’s phone calls) for that conversation. Man, can those Muslims put together some fancy insults. Remember that Arab (can’t remember which nationality) talk-show where the two guys went off on each other? I think I saw it on HA. Now THAT’S entertainment.

The only problem is that I sing about as good as Hillary talks southern.

These primitive societies have been doing this and continue to do so long before we got involved with them. Unfortunately, their too bass ackwards to develop the technology to do it on a massive level, so their left to murder each other one by one (you know, like if you get raped, or are caught with your face uncovered). It’s hard to destroy a population with that approach. I say we build a great big wall around all of the ME (Israel excluded), don’t let anyone in or out, and see how long it is before there’s only a handful left.

Keep hunting for those cooperative links as it relates to Hezbollah. As far as pitting Syrian-backed Sunnis against Iranian-backed Shias – now that’s a problem when we’re trying to bring the two sects together in Iraq. Keep finding and demonstrating to Iraqis the relationship between Syrian and Iranian interference in Iraq and the harm it’s causing the Iraqi people. All this is most likely being done but perhaps we step up our efforts.

Personally, I’d like to see a military warning shot ‘across the bow’, a limited strike against a well-defined target in both Syria and Iran to send a message that the US is beginning to tire of their meddling. And if nothing else, do it for the soldiers who have died as result of the flow of Syrian/Iranian weapons and logistical support.
