Jeeze! I just about fell off my chair! There’s frost on the ground in hell. Saddam probably had to put on his thermals.

Did anybody else notice that Williams and NBC delight in showing a new suicide bomber or roadside bomb every time it happens but they did not (to my knowledge) have a single report on the massive cache of rockets and other explosives that our forces uncovered a couple of weeks ago?
There were no bombings to report on the day that the weapons were found so I watched closely to see if Mr. Williams would report on the weapons cache find. He did not.

Nobody will ever convince me that these lefties do not hate America and consciously want us to lose. These are the same kind of people (if not THE same ones) that did this country in during the Vietnam war.

How much more of this crap will the American public have to take? It has nothing to do with ‘free speech’. It has to do with treason.

I guess since NBC Nightly News is at all-time ratings low (ABC is actually higher than they are in the ratings), they have got nothing to lose by not pandering to the Left. I was actually stunned to see Williams and Engel reporting that the escalation is having a positive effect. Usually Williams (perhaps at the behest of his producers? who knows?) bends over backwards to make our efforts abroad look cartoonish.

Let’s look at who does well in the ratings: Fox news. I watched ABC last night and noticed they are less liberal than CBS or NBC. Could that be why they do better? I think so.

The Jihad Watch staff remain skeptical about long-term prospects with any Islamic country. Everything in the Arab world is a conspiracy and, while they may not want us to leave, they’re the problem. They’re unable to ever take accountability for their own actions and demand that we remain to keep them safe and pay them jizyah. Enough is enough.

What we have accomplished: We’ve put Saudi Arabia in a position to worry about the Shia (the new Zionists). Hopefully, they can fight amongst themselves (Sunni vs. Shia) until Saudi Arabia ceases to be the ideological and monetary sponsor behind the global jihad. The fact that the king met with Ahmadinejad means that he’s worried. More worried about the Shia than the Jews. I apologize if this sounds defeatist, but this is the reality with the Islamic world.

A short recon of what’s out there that might draw your attention….

If there was a coalition that was equal to the first gulf war, yet the mandate was to liberate. Do you believe we would be much farther along? I can’t get my mind around people doing nothing. I try but I can’t. I’m beginning to think I’m just naive.

Our biggest mistake wasn’t going in with more and clearing every town of insurgents and Iraqi military. Rather we rolled around them thinking they would fall in love with the liberation. You know what they say about hindsight…

They don’t want us to leave…That’s the tenth time today I’ve heard that. I’ve gotta go back to the states and so a newscast that every night has another politician – or 12 of them – saying we have got to get out of that godforsaken palce…

I repeated the whole quote for the “or 12 of them” line. It seems to me that what Williams is admitting is that the “we’ve-got-to-get-out” politicians are pretty much the only ones the MSMers seek out for newscast comment.

I was sadly amused when Williams remarked “I have to go back to NY and do a broadcast where every evening there are politicians telling me that we should leave” or some such.

Actually, I think that was a great question because it gives the guy with his boots on the ground and his ass in the line of fire the opportunity to address that meme directly. I’m glad to see Williams openly invite the counterpoint and from someone who actually knows what the heck they’re talking about.
