Having said that I do think that fundamental and fanatic adherance to Islam can also bring in a definite mental inbalance bluring the distinction between reality and fantasy. The ones really in denial – and I don’t mean the river in Eqypt- are the so called “educated” Islamic women who defend the burka and the Sharia law.

If the women in Islam could be taught martial arts where they could defend themselves against the beatings and honor killings we would have a much more civilized world. I can just visualize one of the four wives grabbing Ali by the beard while another gives him the knee thus giving the louse a real beating by his wives for a change. However, its hard to defend yourself when your periphial vision is reduced by the eye slit in your burka, so perhaps a redesinged burka would be in order.

No wonder some of these women that leave Islam and are outspoken critics want nothing to do with men and are lesbians or unmarried. I don’t blame them. However, not all men are like those peace loving guys from the Middle East.

Islam IS a mental illness. What an opportunity for the field of psychiatry.

There is no shame in liberal circles- especially down here in Chapel Hill.

We need a statute that would allow a judge to take a defendant during such an outburst, put him over his knee, and spank his backside in open court. Seriously, this man needs a public shaming.

They won’t craft it that way – they will make sure to separate the fact that he is “Muslim” from their allegation that he is “insane.”

Officials have transported Taheri-azar to Dorothea Dix Hospital for a full mental evaluation. Doctors there will decide whether or not he’s fit to stand trial.

I suppose that the solution is to scrap the patriot act and institute universal health care, including a mental health component.

Remember drive-by jihadist Mohammed Taheri-azar? As Daniel Pipes noted back in March 2006: Mr. Taheri-azar represents the ultimate Islamist nightmare: a seemingly well-adjusted Muslim whose religion inspires him, out of the blue, to murder non-Muslims….

I am curious about how islamic folks are going to play this if at all.It might be conveniently passed over unless someone “picked on” his religion and that furthered his mental illness.Oh the possibilities!

The strategy works to their advantage because they can now say that it’s not the Religion’s fault – it’s the mentally ill people’s (jihadis) fault. In other words, Islam is not broken – there’s a group of sick people doing all of this. The left will eat this up. It’s only a matter of time before we need to be more sensitive to these mentally ill people.
