Sometimes it is just best to wipe out (via force, education, economically) the lot of trouble-makers and let the void be filled by more reasonable people.

I bet the Saudis are terrified of the day we perfect non-fossil fuel vehicles, not even China and India can be relied on as long as the US has been forced to deal with the oil ticks.
