I like how Japan was stuck in the back next to Nigeria.

It must be really sad in Iran to be a kid… I mean, I grew up with GOOD cartoons like Duck Tales, Transformers, Thundercats, etc… They have to deal with crappy worm-peanuts watching white asexual blobs build a nuclear reactor. Oooooohhh… Exciting!

If we really want to conquer Iran, we need to send 80s cartoons over there.

It’s great how the Nigerian guy is so much bigger than the others. Also, how there’s a Swiss guy there. See how beleaguered poor Iran is!! Even Switzerland abandons its neutrality to threaten it!

Also, they had a guy with the English flag, rather than the UK. Presumably they wanted to get that crusading St. George symbol in there.

Hmmmm.

The most interesting part for me was how they perceive the international situation vs how we perceive it.

We take a very dim view of the possibility of sanctions working, because the UN is a corrupt institution that would never go for it. Plus countries like Russia, France and China would gleefully oppose us.

So we see any sort of attempt to place sanctions on them as being almost doomed to failure due to divisions in the international community.

Yet from the view of the cartoon, the US actually seemed much more able to get other countries lined up against Iran. So it appears that Iran (or the cartoon creator) sees a much more monolithically united international community that is opposed to Iran and their “peaceful” nuclear quest.

Which means that these sanctions that we are pursuing may be more effective than we realize.

Of course, let’s not forget that I’m basically trying to read international politics through a bunch of freakin’ animated peanuts. So consider that your official disclaimer.

So “alley ooda” is apparently their version of our “derka derka.” I’m not quite sure I completely follow why all those circus peanuts were wearing 1900′s world’s fair hats with flags on them, but I get the message. “Jews: Don’t prevent us from constructing new levels for Super Mario 64.”
