[...] Too bad they didn’t do it Pixar-style. That would have been awesome. Exit question one: How long would it have taken a skilled editor to tell this story? Sixty seconds? Exit question two: Are Iranians so well steeped in tales of American oppression that they know who the man in the feathered headdress is? Click the image to watch. [...]

A closer look into how to "propagandize" a civilization from toddlers to the elders, and anyone without a brain in between, has to be launched..........

I thought "movies with a motive", did not have "any" effect on the populous, only cigarette adds..........

But never mind........ it was against the "the United States of America"........ that's OK...

Was that a Yanni song in the background? It sounded like either Yanni or John Tesh.

Of course, the American Circus Peanut just had a low drone as its backup music.

I'm pretty sure it's Vanessa Mae. I could be wrong but it sounds like her work.

I like how Japan was stuck in the back next to Nigeria.

It must be really sad in Iran to be a kid... I mean, I grew up with GOOD cartoons like Duck Tales, Transformers, Thundercats, etc... They have to deal with crappy worm-peanuts watching white asexual blobs build a nuclear reactor. Oooooohhh... Exciting!

If we really want to conquer Iran, we need to send 80s cartoons over there.

It's great how the Nigerian guy is so much bigger than the others. Also, how there's a Swiss guy there. See how beleaguered poor Iran is!! Even Switzerland abandons its neutrality to threaten it!

Also, they had a guy with the English flag, rather than the UK. Presumably they wanted to get that crusading St. George symbol in there.

I don't think those were peanuts. They were worms. That's how they depict the countries who are not buying into their obvious lie that nuclear energy is their only motive here.

Yeah, right. And chickens have lips.

Hmmmm.

The most interesting part for me was how they perceive the international situation vs how we perceive it.

We take a very dim view of the possibility of sanctions working, because the UN is a corrupt institution that would never go for it. Plus countries like Russia, France and China would gleefully oppose us.

So we see any sort of attempt to place sanctions on them as being almost doomed to failure due to divisions in the international community.

Yet from the view of the cartoon, the US actually seemed much more able to get other countries lined up against Iran. So it appears that Iran (or the cartoon creator) sees a much more monolithically united international community that is opposed to Iran and their "peaceful" nuclear quest.

Which means that these sanctions that we are pursuing may be more effective than we realize.

Of course, let's not forget that I'm basically trying to read international politics through a bunch of freakin' animated peanuts. So consider that your official disclaimer.
