Actually, after it was found out the the movie “Love Story” was based on Al and Tipppers love affair (you know just befor the internet thing he invented), they recast the Oscar in Gore’s image. You can tell by the Oscar’s stiff pose.

I was seriously drunk when Gore started making his announcement and almost threw my Harp at the screen; realized it was a joke just in time.

I thought the Fox News reporter was sagging big time, and wasn’t impressed at all.

Are you sure about that? I watched a bit, Ellen Degeneres is easy to take, but there is a real retro (not in the deliberate, positive sense) to these things. I like looking at Leo as much as the next girl, but beyond that….

One thing that is confusing, but not surprising: Ever article says “Gore wins Oscar” but he isn’t a producer of the film, nor is he a director. He does not get an Oscar statue with his name on it. How did “Gore” win it?

Probably Michael Moore – hasn’t he won the past ten or so “best documentary” Oscars?

I think the resemblance is so striking that I have a hard time not thinking of Wells every time I see Gore.

Occasionally, I think Gore looks like Grandpa on the Munsters, but not as often.

I used to think he was just a putz, but now he’s so creepy and evil looking that he weirds me out.

Supposedly the winners aren’t known beforehand, but surely they didn’t bring Lucas, Coppola, and Spielberg together to hand an award to Paul Greengrass.
