Mexico outraged that U.S. border fence trespasses 10 yards into Mexican territory

posted at 4:00 pm on February 25, 2007 by Allahpundit

Per the Beeb’s own numbers, that’s a trade of .00006 inches for every illegal immigrant.

Good deal.

Since it’s Sunday and we’re groovin’ on outrage, enjoy this unrelated apology for terrorism unearthed by John Noonan at Op-For. The “Schoolhouse Rock” format presents a hipster-friendly ironic counterpoint to the horror of the message while efficiently hinting that the “facts” are simple enough for a child to understand. Get it? Get it?

Screw Mexico and also the lying assholes who made that cartoon.

BTW, I watched the first 2:22 minutes of it, enough to see where it was going. I want those 2:22 minites of my life back!

F*ckem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Nicaragua is “free” again. Noriega is back, maybe cartoonist should go down there on vacation, and stay.

Zorro on February 25, 2007 at 4:49 PM

Every time I think it’s wrong to actually hate the leftists, something like this comes along and reaffirms my hatred.

TugboatPhil on February 25, 2007 at 4:52 PM

I think you’ll find that school house rock video clip in the San Francisco elementary schools pretty soon.

EFG on February 25, 2007 at 4:56 PM

Ortega’s back in Nicaragua, actually, Zorro. Noriega was in Panama; a case where we decided our collaboration with a “piratical” intelligence agent was just too disgusting to handle even in the life-or-death context of the Cold War.

So we invaded and took him out and he’s doing life in the federal pen. And Panama is a democracy.

Strange that Autoharp Annie and her Anarchist Ensemble didn’t include that little story in her little propaganda experiment.

see-dubya on February 25, 2007 at 4:59 PM

Frank Rubino, Noriega’s attorney, has said Noriega is due to be released from prison on September 9, 2007.

lorien1973 on February 25, 2007 at 5:07 PM

If we were actually building the wall on their territory, I’d say they had a point, however hypocritical. But from the article it sounds like it’s the construction crew that’s bled over, not the actual wall.

Alex K on February 25, 2007 at 5:12 PM

Perhaps the leftist who made this are just educating their base.Cant make leftist talking points too complicated now can we? I would love to see a parody on this with propagandized indoctrinated kiddies pouring out of a little red school house clubbing democracy with democratic talking points and feeeelings. We could start with FDR.

spazzmomma on February 25, 2007 at 5:34 PM

Oh that’s nothing, we apologized!

In a statement, the US Ambassador to Mexico Tony Garza said: “The US is sensitive to Mexican concerns… [and] has the deepest respect for the integrity of the sovereignty of Mexican soil”.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6390291.stm

Mexican anger over US ‘trespass’
Mexico’s Congress has condemned what it says is a border violation by US workers building a controversial barrier between the two countries.
Legislators say workers and equipment building a section of the barrier have gone 10 metres (yards) into Mexico.

The alleged border violation comes ahead of a high-level meeting in the Canadian capital Ottawa.

US, Mexican and Canadian foreign ministers are to discuss border security and trade issues.

Mexican legislators said they had photographs and video, taken on Monday, of the workers and heavy-duty construction equipment that showed them about 10 metres inside Mexico near the border city of Agua Prieta and the town of Douglas, Arizona.

The Mexican Foreign Minister Patricia Espinosa said she had complained to the US authorities and that the men and equipment had been withdrawn.

How do ya like them horse apples?

we get millions of their citizens sending back remittances by the billion, free health care, free housing and free education and demanding citizenship and more rights than citizens have; we drive on their side of the line 10 yards and they have the gaul to be angry about it and we are stupid enough to say we’re sorry.

Need a definition for kick me I’m stupid, this will work just fine.

Speakup on February 25, 2007 at 5:49 PM

I say if they can take the 10 yards, then they can have it. They can invade and claim it for the Americas. Buena suerte amigos. :-)

Mojave Mark on February 25, 2007 at 5:51 PM

And…why do we get this from the BBC and not from NBC?

Speakup on February 25, 2007 at 5:54 PM

And I’m outraged that:

1. Mexico publishes guides to help Illegal Immigrants sneak into the US.

2. Mexico is a third world country when it could be the next Canada if not for their terrible leadership.

3. Mexican telecommunications are complete and utter scam artists

4. Mexican Postal service is a black hole sucking in any mail that passes through it with no guarantee except that your package will NOT be delivered.

5. Mexican Police/Military agents are basically sub-let to drug dealers.

Jones Zemkophill on February 25, 2007 at 6:01 PM

What about the 1,355,200 yard incursion by Mexico othewise known as the stat of California.

“America outraged that Mexicans illegally trespass 2000 miles into U.S. territory.”

Commies using cartoons to capture the minds of our kids… not much new about that. “Schoolhouse Rock” is new to me and has a harder edge to it than this one, Cows with Guns.

“Cows with Guns” is really a masterpiece of propaganda, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was sponsored by the National Education Association. I’m sure the NEA hopes every public school teachers shows it in every grade school classroom. Here is my list of leftist messages and/or impressions that a young mind would come away with…. see if I missed anything.

1.) America is evil because we raise cows and chickens, and other animals to kill and eat (this is PETA’s message, cows are people too, become a vegetarian, like the beloved Fuehrer). This is along with a broader message that America generally exploits, take advantage of, and enslave everybody and everything.

2.) Che Guevara was a great leader that believe in truth and justice, and led people to victories in the name of freedom (rather than being the murderous commie scum that he actually was, that helped bring down the free nation of Cuba and subjugated it to the dictatorial rule under Castro, where the people no longer have property rights or any freedom and live in a continual state of poverty under socialism).

3.) Encourage the kids to read and study leftist books so they can become a great freedom fighter and leader like Che and cause others to join the revolution and fight the evil America !

4.) George W. Bush-Hitler is the evil authoritarian that wants to oppress all that would stand up for their rights or freedom or even their most basic right to live ! (OK.. maybe that one is stated a little over the top… but its there !)

5.) Fight on the side of the revolution and you will win, because RIGHT is on your side!

If you showed this to a bunch of kids and then ask for a show of hands of those who thought Che Guevara was a good guy, you can bet nearly every hand would go up. This is so very illustrative of how easily the uninformed mind can be duped by pure demagoguery, rather than being allowed to study the facts.

It’s amazing how many lies and wrong political ideas can be spread with some seemingly harmless graphics and a catchy tune.

And while it seems to be targeted at children, one must consider, with the dumbed-down education provided by public schools these days… it might even be effective at the college level !

Maxx on February 25, 2007 at 6:41 PM

Meanwhile, upstanding Mexican citizens are here doing jobs Americans certainly won’t do.

Ten yards into Mexico?

Well I guess the borders DO matter!

Wander on February 25, 2007 at 6:50 PM

Isn’t it funny how leftists think everything can spelled out in an easy three minute cartoon format?

I’d love them to do a song about stem cell research or Halliburton.

Losers.

Since we’re talking lefty propaganda cartoons, “Super Fancy U.N. Man” has to be one of the most annoying.

Grab a barf bag (or two) and watch it HERE.

mojojojo on February 25, 2007 at 8:14 PM

So, does this mean that this week foreign policy “realism” is unfashionable again?

Sean M. on February 25, 2007 at 8:20 PM

To the youtubery:

1. As Bill O would say, “You can’t defend bad behavior by pointing out other bad behavior. (P.S. I’m not agreeing that what she is saying about the US is correct)

2. The Contras were not fighting and taking from just any passer-by as a pirate, or a neighbor like a bandit, or another courty’s government/people; they were fighting their own oppressive government.

3. You’re using a pirates argument. That would be like me using something Ted Bundy said at his trial against you.

4. There can be something said in favor of using two baddies against each other to weaken both.

Tony737

mmmm so the deeper we penetrate their border the more they’ll give us back. Fascinating concept captain, its time to call the navy and marines; time to go to the halls of montezuma!

Defector01 on February 25, 2007 at 11:19 PM

That’s cool. You take back your 30 million illegals, and we’ll take back our eight construction workers.

Sounds good to me. Too bad our current President is too stupid, or too corrupt to figure out such a simple solution.

Gregor on February 25, 2007 at 11:58 PM

People, I will give you (most of you) the benefit of the doubt, ….. that you are a patriot of the United States, and as a citizen, will defend your country…….

This “tripe”, goes beyond the propoganda, like

Maxx on February 25, 2007 at 6:41 PM

was trying to explain………..

But people, oh, I am so over trying to explain this,

Mexico outraged that U.S. border fence trespasses 10 yards into Mexican territory

You know what, here is what I want you to do…………

Gather up your pretty wife, your daughters, especially, and the rest of your children………..

Fly or drive to San Diego, head south on I-5 or I-15, you will reach the border with the “Nation of Mexico, Republic of….”

One of many signs you will see…… “watch out for people running across the freeway”, “The other, “Guns are Illegal in Mexico!”…….. Really? I have seen no shortage of guns, by drug runners, illegal alien smugglers, coorupt police, coorupt military………”, I’ll get back to that.

First, you will have to buy “Mexican car insurance”, before you cross, the border, and if you don’t, your fr*(kd…” (Oh, no, there is no requirement that Mexicans crossing into the United States have to by insurance, that we have to buy ”

Next, cross an “international border”…. that is right, you did not just enter into our “neighbor to the south”, you entered a hostile nation that does not honor your “bill of rights”……… in Mexico, you are “guilty untill proved innocent”. Nice……..

Oh, I forgot, bring lots, and lots of cash, spread it around your, and your families bodies, the bribes start once they see a car with “United States” plates……

If your lucky, follow the coast road as far as you can, the farther you get away from the border, the better you are, but remember, you have to drive back……..

Enjoy the day, tip the “rapist” , only drink bottled water, and by all means, speak agains the US.

Don’t pay any attention to the number of “illegal aliens Mexico has pushed to the U.S.”

“La Raza” is the most racist organization apart from the KKK, and invading the US is OK, but defending the borders is not……… Bullvine feces!

I can only think of the people around Hitler that did not do a thingh untill it came knocking on their door, and when they asked for help……. no one was left.

Not this “citizen”. I was born here, I will fight………

PinkyBigglesworth on February 26, 2007 at 2:07 AM

“AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH”!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I lost my thought on my input to this string, I get just so frustrated………..

PinkyBigglesworth on February 26, 2007 at 2:15 AM

Remember in the 80′s killer bees were supposedly swarming up from Mexico? Maybe it was just a fashion statement.

Coronagold on February 26, 2007 at 10:29 AM

You mean these bees?

Or these, these, or these?

Good point. I guess until you get stung on the a$$, it’s easier just to pretend it’s not real.

Gregor on February 26, 2007 at 11:43 AM

Legislators say workers and equipment building a section of the barrier have gone 10 metres (yards) into Mexico.

To reiterate, it’s NOT the fence, but a couple of workers and maybe a tractor that momentarily crossed the border 30 feet into Mexico. A few people. A couple of vehicles. For FEW MINUTES.

How do you even compare the idiocy.

Please Mexico, come get your 12 plus million intruders/ trespassers, illegal aliens, etc, OUT of the US of A.

I wonder if they could all be arrested for trespass now? Si?
