This jackass is obviously going for a performance art-ish moment of righteous rage but all he managed to do is creep me out. He’s not explicitly threatening her with violence, but the bit at the end about her trying to hide as the planet turns Asian is more than a little dicey coming as soon as it does after a reference to people being beaten with baseball bats.
Is that a common hate crime, by the way? Asians being pummelled by Louisville Sluggers while their assailants chant “ching chong”? Either I missed that epidemic or this tool’s straining awfully hard for victimhood.
For the record, here’s how he responded in the sidebar at YouTube after commenters called him on his little revenge fantasy:
5) i am not threatening that asians will punish all the non-asians in the future. i am implying that the population of the world is predominantly asian, and that just because in one context she does not interact with asians, doesn’t mean that a context will not occur in which she will have asians in her life.
Judge for yourself. Thanks to Texas Rainmaker for the tip.

I agree about the obnoxiousness of the “performance artishness” of it… but his early point was dead on, and what I have been saying from the beginning. Everyone agreed that what Rosie did wasn’t okay, but very few pointed out just how insane her excuse was… especially in the MSM. While the mainstream did cover the first offense a bit, they gave her a pass when she “apologized”.
Here’s the problem, as dude stated in the video… She wasn’t doing “an accent”. She was doing a stereotypical impression of a language she doesn’t know. But no one busted her for claiming it was just like when she does an Irish accent. Talking like the Lucky Charms guy, and saying “Ching chong ching” are not even close to the same.

Climb Mt. Nataka!
Seriously….I think the fella was just venting. Like someone calling me ‘Stupid Mick’.
We could always donate a 40mm PomPom for Rosey to install in her yard.

I dont see any threat here.He expressed his views well.I guess I just dont understand the whole asian prejudice thing. Prejudice is butt ugly in any color or race.

Bwahahahaha!!!! I love when liberals attack each other
Capitalist Infidel on February 24, 2007 at 5:01 PM
Hmmmm … possible ching chong blowback.
darwin on February 24, 2007 at 5:01 PM
Yeah, he’s pretty creepy, but so is Rosie.
RedWinged Blackbird on February 24, 2007 at 5:01 PM
Yeah, I think the guy was pretty straightforward about his message, no need to find hidden threats. Why can’t all just get along, hold hands and agree that Rosie is a jack-ass?
Just my humble opinion.
Decoy256 on February 24, 2007 at 5:06 PM
He’s about a month too late.
Nice mullet though.
SilverStar830 on February 24, 2007 at 5:09 PM
I didn’t get that creepy, hands over Kelly Pippas mouth feeling.
Actually, thought it was a very good comment/quote, not even angry.
Funny, isn’t it how people can see the same video and not take away the same thing from it.
It actually sounded like an extended version of Dennis Miller’s rants LOL!!
HarryStar on February 24, 2007 at 5:13 PM
MM had a response too, and quite a bit more timely.

Hmm he’s definitely pissed. It seems as though he’s serious about a public apology. It doesn’t appear he’s gonna let it slide. Wait, the baseball bat revenge inference could be a NYC thing. Hmm NYC, Donald Trump is producing from LA this year. Oh, I like it Donald you sly dog!

That is a good vent, I see nothing wrong here. Pardon the expression but I think he is ’speaking truth to power’ and far more accurate and informed than Rosie.

Hate to burst his bubble, but the one child, one family rule has gutted the next generation of Mainland Chinese, probably the next three generations as too many young men look for not enough women to marry, between bouts of terror as to how one couple is supposed raise one child plus support two sets of parents and four sets of grandparents. Met a Vietnamese couple once and they said their families were limited to two (communism is so fine). Knew a Japanese woman who had two kids, and aborted five. Japan’s population is collapsing with that kind of cultural practice. Asia is going to go through a big upheaval in the near future. One hopes it won’t be violent.
Apart from all that, Rosie is annoying.
naliaka on February 24, 2007 at 6:36 PM
Famous movie actor Mark Wahlberg beat the crap out of a Vietnamese man while saying ching-chong crap. Also attacked some black kids with some of his “buds”.

The Far Eastern countries are far, far more racist than America by virtue of Confucianism and the idea that one is a citizen of that country by race and blood alone. This guy could easily be an American citizen, but Rosie would never, even if born in Korea, Japan, or China, be a citizen of those countries. So his whining about how racist her comments were is disingenuous.
Since Korea, Japan, and China all have negative population growth, they hardly will be threatening Rosie demographically any time soon. Southeast Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, etc.) is predominantly Indian in culture and have very little in common with Confucian Northeast Asia. The Japanese, Chinese, and Koreans are probably as different culturally to, say, Filipinos or Indonesians as they are to Europeans. For him to lump all “Asians” together shows that he actually is the racist.
People seriously overreacted to Rosie’s impression. The Chinese languages are tonal. If you don’t speak a word of the language and you are doing an impression, “ching, chong” actually is a decent impression of a high and low tone.
This is probably the only time I will defend Rosie.

I actually liked it….
Very informational…….
Time for this “white boy” (with Italian heritage) to sit back and watch the Asians, Overweight Lesbians, Latino’s, and Muslims fight it out for world domination……….
I’ll get the pop corn………
PinkyBigglesworth on February 24, 2007 at 7:19 PM
Besides being late, I find nothing wrong with this clip. The only thing he left off was that Rosie is a waste of time, wrapped in an NBC ribbon.

This guy is cool and rosie is a POS.

“plus-sized lesbians”, eh? and something about “the queer community”
Is everyone talking in code now? Either that, or mumbling–pretty soon we’ll all be talking like Robin Williams in ‘Popeye’ ( one of the worst movies ever made, BTW )
Janos Hunyadi on February 24, 2007 at 9:46 PM
It’ll end with the Asians verses the Musslims- put your money down, folks.
Scotsman on February 24, 2007 at 10:46 PM
I might be wrong, but I didn’t hear it as him suggesting a baseball bat might be used against Rosie. It sounded to me like he was referring to the history of the Chinese being beaten with bats while the attackers would be saying “ching chong.” I think he was making the point that she should realize that “ching chong” has been historically used as a racial slur, which often came during a hate crime, such as the beating of a Chinese man. He made the same point with the mine shaft reference.
But I’m not positive. That’s just how it sounded to me.
I thought he did a good job.
Gregor on February 24, 2007 at 11:02 PM
I’m with this guy, too. Zero oblique threats, just criticism of Rosie. She has a history of being an ass that goes well beyond the ching chong thing, and I think his response was completely righteous.
Savage on February 25, 2007 at 4:29 AM
I dug it.
Like I said in the YouTube comments, I really dislike Rosie. Who knew she was a lesbian? Well, everyone did, moron. Duh. She chose to closet herself for decades for whatever reason… do you think anyone who found her stupid Koosh-flinging, Tom Cruise swooning schtick entertaining actually cared? Don’t touch that Koosh! Lesbian germs! Ewwww!
Then she…ahem…bravely comes out and starts swinging wildly, because she’s going to fight for every gay person everywhere. Whatever. Now I can’t even dislike her for being a talentless blowhard, ’cause that’d make me homophobic. Trump had it half-right: she really seems to be the ultimate case of outwardly-projected self-hatred ever seen.
So of course we should hire her for The View!
saint kansas on February 25, 2007 at 4:52 AM
Um…Rosie is in trouble….You don’t mess with 2 billion
folks….

I thought it was a nice vent. But there seemed to be a tiny element of rage that may have distracted some from his core message. But then again, what can you expect from a liberal? (I’m assuming he’s a liberal).
