OK I have to ask could someone please tell me what emo means? I havent been a 20-something for a very long time and I feel left out.

Are they linked up to the People’s computers so the People’s Webmaster General can filter the People’s content?

Beating them by out-Digging them just rewards the Digg model, and the only one who benefits from that is Digg, who I don’t work for. So why should I bother?

If Digg is unfair to conservatives, then boycott/ignore it until they fix their broken model. Trying to out-Digg the leftists is what I consider a race to the bottom.

Nobody has given me any reason to like Digg, so why should I suppport them?

Not everyone who “down-diggs” posts is doing so because they don’t agree with the content at the URL. Sometimes the URL just isn’t worthy of promotion. That’s why there is an “OK, this is lame” option, when voting something down. If you want to help, Digg the really good posts, the posts with a lot of original content. If you Digg everything, it just increases the level of noise. I’m not saying there isn’t an anti-conservative bias… just that the answer isn’t to flood Digg with a bunch of less-than-spectacular content. And then, if you see a Digg-worthy post that has been buried without good reason, contact Digg and complain.

The problem Digg has is that it is completely committed to a democratic process for story rating. They could solve this problem by having an employee (or a team of trusted volunteers) audit all posts that are down-dugg off the front page and determine if the negative response is legitimate or just constitutes bias against the ideas presented. But then they wouldn’t be able to say that Digg is 100% controlled by the users.

Digging a story requires one mouse click, that’s it. It doesn’t get anywhere near expending effort.

That’s something conservatives are too lazy and too comfortable to do, as evidenced by attendance at conservative protests.

It’s why we lose at everything. Youtube banning, Google bombing, illegal alien marches, Dig, Christian bashing, mid-term elections. It’s just too much trouble, and besides … the basketball game is on.

Wade & Sandberg, you guys got it wrong. Digging stories on your favorite blogs, helps the blogs get more readership. I digg everything on the blogs I peruse.

We need to digg these conservative sites. How many times do I read here ” get the word out” and digg MIGHT be a huge way to do so. Give it a go, if 60-90 days down the road it’s still bogus, drop it and digg will become so far left it’ll become useless. Digg knows this so I think, like charles, like AP that its worth the effort for now.
I digg 8 to 10 articles daily. I dont spend time burying very much, its all lewrockwell and others I dont even know.

At gmail you can get like 5 accounts.
