When moonbats attack: New details emerge
posted at 9:54 am on February 22, 2007 by Allahpundit
There’s a lot to read at the boss’s site so I won’t waste your time here.
But suffice it to say, I’m keenly interested to know young master Stone’s viewing habits.

How do you rehabilitate the frothing moonbat? Oh, wait, they have to WANT to be better people first,so I guess the answer is tag em?

I’ve had a number of people on ThinkProgress threaten me with violence already… looks like I’ll have to apply for that concealed-carry permit.
dalewalt on February 22, 2007 at 10:02 AM
This is straight out of Marcuse’s playbook for the New Left, “Repressive Tolerance”: All forms of conservative thought or dissent must be repressed. I wonder when the far left is going to start breaking out the black shirts?
Wait…when you look at ANSWER and other organizations you can see they already have.

Stone is clearly a violent person. He’s also a brownshirter like Markos (“Absolutely, we can take her out”) Moulitas.
Stone differs from Kos (or the typical Huffpost/DUer) only in degree of expressed violence, not in attitude.
This is not going to get better for those of us who are conservatives or Republicans. This appears to be the start of a campaign of intimidation in the run up to the 2008 election.
I have no doubt that the left will attempt to paper over the incident and try to blame it on Republicans for their support of the war. Remember, paranoids always try to blame others for their problems.
If Stone doesn’t go to prison, and/or if he isn’t expelled from UWM, then the brownshirter left will feel emboldened and entitled to attack any of us in your home, on the street, or at your job.
In my opinon, it is just a matter of time before these thugs emulate their 1930′s cousins. And woe betide the country if that happens.

Olbermann tells emailers to kill themselves and he talks about others? What a dick.
JammieWearingFool on February 22, 2007 at 10:15 AM
I would love to see Stone’s college transcript. He lives in that bizarro world where Right/Left merge….Nazi. This man has Columbine and Auschwitz written all over him.

Been there, done that. But it never actually came to blows in my case.
And people wonder why I blog anonymously? I have a family now and they don’t need the looney-left public foolisnesss and crank phone calls.

After inspecting several MySpace, what do you call them, “pages?” posted by my kids’ friends, I informed them a while ago they were never to make one up for themselves. It’s shocking how much personal info kids and adults put on those things. Also told them to forget about text-messaging. Everything that is entered can be used against you in the future. When texting, one never really knows if one is actually conversing with the person one wants or his committee of prankster friends (or her committee). The only way to really know what is going on is to stick to face-to-face or simple phonecalls. Seems stone age in some respects, but no headaches. With the rise of this kind of behavior – all the more reason to go low-tech. Having the person you are dealing with right in front of you creates a moderating effect that is absent on texting and noteboards. It’s a lot easier to mouth-off to extremes in cyberspace than in front of someone. Once people become habituated to working at such levels of abusive behavior, it’s harder to ratchet them down later.

I would like to suggest to your giftshop the “Hot Air Slugger”, should be kept behind the door or in your car seat, effective against agressive moonbats and you do not need a permit to carry it.
StuLongIsland on February 22, 2007 at 10:32 AM
You really do have to hope this guy is an isolated, fringe wack-job, don’t you? Where are the voices of reason on the Left to condemn this assclown?
Kos? Atrios? Marcotte? Anyone? Bueller?
Fred on February 22, 2007 at 10:45 AM
They will not condemn him, Fred, they are jealous that they are too skeereded to take such a move.
bbz123 on February 22, 2007 at 10:55 AM
This Stone turd sounds like Cindy Sheehan in
a jock strap. A weggie will take care of the baby.

I just spent some time at DKOS and DU. Nothing there. Nada. Not a mention of the incident.
Excuse me, I have to take a shower now to wash all that liberal Democrat slime off.
georgej on February 22, 2007 at 11:12 AM
jummy, I’m not surprised.
I’ve received threats for daring to write a letter to the editor.
georgej on February 22, 2007 at 11:13 AM
But, in honesty, if some random right-winger went ballistic, would it really fall on us to condemn the actions when we would think it’s assumed we were against it?
frankj on February 22, 2007 at 11:18 AM
I relish the day when a moonbat knocks on my door and provokes me. I’m a little over 6’4″, 268lbs. Of course, a 70 lb needle-nosed Greyhound to the cahones might do the job as well.
robblefarian on February 22, 2007 at 11:19 AM
It seems most of the coverage on this greatly under-reports the predatory nature of the event. Worse, a lot of it’s almost flip. Is this out of genuine ignorance of the home invasion aspect, or because they just think the story is more entertaining when led-in as if it were some kind of friends-arguing-turns-ugly brawl?
Whatever the case, it’s all profoundly creepy–particularly as most Americans don’t even know what “brownshirt” refers to. Oh well. All the more reason to exercise your rights under the 2nd amendment. All told, this maniac is lucky to still be alive.

Heh. Just added the Fredericksburg Times Article to the Wiki page on Bush Derangement Syndrome. Clearly this is reaching pandemic proportions.
BohicaTwentyTwo on February 22, 2007 at 11:26 AM
Why do you think the libs are so motivated to take your guns away?
How many times do we see actions like this from liberals who claim to be pacifists or who speak out against violence of any kind?
I’d love to see someone do a legitimate study on violent criminals. I would be willing to bet that over 80% of violent criminals would consider themselves Democrats or liberals. Of course, liberals would claim that the results show the overwhelming futility suffered by the poor.
My guess is that Mr. Stone would not fall into the “poor” category though. He’s probably spoiled rotten.
Gregor on February 22, 2007 at 11:27 AM
I wouldn’t relish it, but it does seem that, statistically, trying to assault Republicans in their own homes is a great way to get shot.
Suicide by Republican, maybe.
frankj on February 22, 2007 at 11:28 AM
Is there anyone out there who assumes that liberals are against this? The moonbats are most assuredly celebrating their new-found hero.
Gregor on February 22, 2007 at 11:30 AM
Yes, they cheered Mike Stark and adulated him as some sort of martyr.
I mean, all he did was ask a question!

See now, this? This is why Kos saying “we can take her out” about a single female representative worries me. He may not be scary himself, but plenty of his followers are.(And you know this Stone guy reads Kos.)

I disagree, Tex. This is a guy who you’re someday going to see have his own “Texas Tower” moment.

Liar. It’s perfectly clear what his political agenda was, Mr. Reporter. It’s the one you share.
urbancenturion on February 22, 2007 at 12:00 PM
These people are really sick. I disagree with them but I don’t want to go to their houses and beat the crap out of them-although I could very easily. I had the Code Pinkos out at my house 5 times during my husband’s deployment as well as some group of UH profs and students do protest on the street in front of my home because I dared to criticize their boy weasel watada and hang a blue star flag in my window. Good thing for them they didn’t try to come into my home.
Catie96706 on February 22, 2007 at 12:03 PM
Yes. Yes, it would fall to us to condemn it. It always does. Any wouldn’t you be anxious to distance yourself from this sort of behavior by a fellow traveler? I would. Drum this sort right out of the movement, as St. Bill of Buckely did with the Birchers in the 60′s.
There are no Bill Buckleys on the Left, evidently. More’s the pity.
Fred on February 22, 2007 at 12:04 PM
With a barrel of 12 gauge tough-love, if they invade my home and attack me.

Frankj wrote: “But, in honesty, if some random right-winger went ballistic, would it really fall on us to condemn the actions when we would think it’s assumed we were against it?”
For one, I remember the universal condemnation by the right after Oklahoma City.
But not a word from the left when someone started shooting up Republican campaign offices, nor when they mobbed several, resulting in one Republican staff employee getting their leg broken.
But it is equally important to note that our side doesn’t behave this way in the first place.
georgej on February 22, 2007 at 12:14 PM
Watada’s scum, as are the rest of the moonbats that came to your house. I can’t believe the amount of hate that’s in these people–just sheer deranged pathological hatred. If liberals had any integrity they’d condemn this Stone punk, but I just answered my own question.
ReubenJCogburn on February 22, 2007 at 12:19 PM
That’s some scary stuff, never saw it go that far on my college campus but yeah there were plenty of raving moonbats who’d cheer the death of any right winger

In defense of Allah, he did explain the post with the following line:
I don’t think he needed to add anything else.
Gregor on February 22, 2007 at 12:58 PM
I thought the same thing. The picture of him facing the sheep, the “hit list” he dropped on the porch — the difference is that this guy’s rage seems to be aimed at Republicans only, rather than the entire human race. Still, the similarity is striking.
John on February 22, 2007 at 1:05 PM
Looks like this idiot hit all the major points in the moonbat manual. We’ve got the gratuitous profanity, the Jew hate, the chickenhawk hate, the Allen hate and the crossing the line from the internet into harassing people irl.
He must have been missing the page where he attacked his ‘enemies’ for being self-hating gays.
Readymade on February 22, 2007 at 1:19 PM
If he commits suicide, they’ll blame us for “humiliating” him, Abu Ghriab style.

Which is why they (leftists) are so hot on having felons and prisoners be able to vote.

OK, so why will this not be investigated and prosecuted as a “hate crime”?
bofh on February 22, 2007 at 3:27 PM
It may seem a bit strange as I live in Minneapolis, a very ‘liberal’ city, but I have yet to have anyone come to my house questing why, if I support the troops, I am not serving in the military. This is despite the fact that I have a 25 foot flag poll in my front yard, displaying both the Stars and Stripes and the POW/MIA flag, and I have a 15 foot long “We Support the Troops” sign hanging on my front porch.
If they did come here, I would proudly show them my photo album with all the pictures I took in Germany (Finthen Army Air Field) and Washington State (Ft. Lewis) while serving in the Army.

RedinBlueCountry, I live (for a few more weeks) in Hawaii and have exercised my free speech rights in writing the local paper regarding the weasel watada. Now, I have an unlisted number so I’m not sure how they (the Pinkos) found me but I did have the bunch of UH idiots out here on the March anniversary of the war. It seems they were trolling for homes with blue star flags in the windows (this is according to my neighbor whose son attends UH & he volunteered my home and two others a couple of streets over) for targeted “mini-protests” on that day. Needless to say, he isn’t welcomed anywhere near me. His parents are truly embarrassed and kicked his butt to other lodgings there. His father went through this in Viet Nam and apologizes everytime he sees me about this. As for the Code Pinkos, they showed up shortly after my first missive in the local rag about their boy.
I hope they don’t come to your house. It scared my two little ones and the cops didn’t want to do anything because they were on the street. Luckily my neighbor (the one whose son volunteered me for protest) has been there to help run them off everytime they’ve showed up. He’s about 6″5″ 250 pounds and solid muscle. He scared me when he came over to introduce himself four years ago and walked into the garage while I was doing laundry. I think I jumped 10 feet. :)
Catie96706 on February 22, 2007 at 5:08 PM
Catie96706,
Sorry to hear about you and your families troubles. I can’t say why we haven’t had any problems. Maybe it’s just part of the Minnesota Nice that a lot of people here practice. Or it could be the Marine Corps flag that my neighbor has hanging on his house.
We do have moonbats here, but they restrict themselves to newspaper Op/Eds and anti-whatever protests. Sometimes yard signs are removed and destroyed, but I contribute that to teenagers being teenagers.
RedinBlueCounty on February 22, 2007 at 5:39 PM
Meh, nothing will be done about it. This is the behavior progressives lionize, e.g. Che Guevara, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez. They like thugs, and they love violence. They just don’t like doing it themselves, as that just complicates their lives.
I expect this to only increase. Only a matter of time before one of them straps a bomb to himself and blows up a crowded mall. Viva la progress, I guess.
spmat on February 22, 2007 at 5:44 PM
One thing I would like to add, we have had visits from several military officers and NCO’s over the last few years thanking us for our support. That really makes me and my family feel proud as these men and women are using their personal time just to thank us. This last visit was from a Marine Corps Colonel who also visited my neighbor.
RedinBlueCounty on February 22, 2007 at 5:46 PM
Who would win a civil war btw. the Left and the Right?
Entelechy on February 22, 2007 at 6:29 PM
I had attached an American Flag to my front door (inside the storm door) and a second lies on the driver side dashboard. (Both were taken off my Flying Scot). They were placed there about two hours after the first plane struck the Twin Towers and are still in place. Most people in Ft. Walton did the same.
Up here, north of Pittsburgh, only my two, elderly, retired military neighbors do the same. About a year ago some union punk made a comment and threat at which point I offered to introduce him to two of my old friends, Mr. Heckler and Mr. Koch.
I think as we get closer to the elections, the democraps lust for power will only make them more unpredictable. God Help Us.
Zorro on February 22, 2007 at 6:31 PM
Nauseating. My wife was at Cal Long Beach during my first deployment in ’03. She had to walk through at least one frothing, hate filled protest a day just to get to class for a month. She was a history major so she kept her mouth shut during class so as not to take any more flak for having a deployed Marine for a husband during that time (like she needed any more stress!). She never once stopped supporting me or what I did but it sure took its toll. If these nut jobs had the temerity to show up at my house and pull a stunt like this… well, there’s a reason I answer the door with a .45 in my waistband (and post deployment paranoia is only part of it!). Frankly, yes, I question not only their patriotism but their humanity, especially if they are willing to torment another American like this over a political disagreement! Scum, the lot of them.
