As an American Jesus Freak, I believe that we must support Israel for two reasons. One political, the other Biblical.

1. It is the only nation in the middle east with a participatory form of government based on personal freedom (until we finish delivering the infant Iraq from the womb of insurgent turmoil), and the only consistent ally we’ve known outside of Australia and the UK (and the Brits are sadly getting weaker toward us all the time).

2. The Abrahamic Covenant, which has never been repealed by the Lord, and has historically been shown true:
