What’s remarkable about this is how progressive this is for women in the Muslim Middle East. Does anyone think that Saudi Arabia would ever consider setting up a place for women to have fun? And imagine the fit Osama bin Laden must be throwing.

There is no question about Iran’s government being a threat to us and to Israel, but from what I have seen they treat their women better than any other country in the ME except Israel and Turkey. I mean, they even let their women drive cars, for cryin’ out loud.

I despise this self-congratulation. Let it be that muslim men are afraid of women or that they’re not; it scarcely matters whether they’re afraid of women per se. What’s important is that they’re not afraid to get them pregnant, again and again and again. Nor are their sons afraid, nor their grandsons. American men would never dare do with their women what muslim men do as a matter of course: repeatedly and unhesitatingly make them mothers.

So what will the men be doing while the women are all gone on this island? I think that’s the real issue here. It’s sort of like an Iranian “Left Behind” series.
